We enjoyed the town, the wineries were lovely, although some don't open during the week, that was disappointing.
People were very friendly, knowledgeable and made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable.
Lake Canobalas was beautiful, child friendly, lovely cafe and lovely place to walk and relax.
Richard our taxi driver went above and beyond organising another driver to pick us up later that night as he was finishing his shift. A big thank you to him.
We went to a few restaurants and they were high end and very good.

Tourist information centre excellent very helpful staff. Toured some of the cellar doors. Travelled to Cowra which was well worth the visit. Also the Ophir Gold where gold first discovered in NSW. Orange central to lots of places of interest. Large town with everything you need. The Ex Services Club excellent for meals.

Orange really has nothing for the tourist.
Orange really has nothing for the tourist. It's a nice town, but you've seen it all in a day or so. It's a bit of a drab place. We ate at local returned servicemens club which was excellent Parking is a pain; it's reverse angle.

The choice of cafes and restaurants was very good.
The Parkview Hotel had good food at a reasonable price.
The service was also good. We walked from De Russie Hotel - about 3 blocks just near the park.
Edward Town House, 151, is in an excellent location. Short walk to local pubs, clubs, main street, shopping and cafes.
We have stayed here on many occasions and always look forward to returning. Great facilities, bbq easy to use, plenty of room in family/kitchen area for 6 adults. Comfy lounge, bluetooth soundbar for streaming your own vibes.
We're already looking forward to our next stay there.
Plus, excellent value for money. Cost way less for two couples than two room at local hotel.
The great western hotel was everything we wanted and needed for our big family Mel was the biggest help and friendly customer service support we had there on the day she made us rest early and get inside after a big drive from melbourne to orange and was making sure we know where to get to and everything is so we mostly stayed and knew mel was there to support us in every day in and out thank you Mel 🙏💗
The Royal Hotel Orange is in a good central location in town and boasts a large open plan bar. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful at all times, and although the room was small, well aged and very basic, it was clean and I had a reasonable sleep. Looking forward to seeing it after the major refurbishment planned in the near future.
Location, comfortable, clean, refreshed interior and work to renovate entire premises underway. Pub next door was the complexes little secret you need to investigate, great meals - outstanding meal deals each night ( $18 T-bone or $18 scotch filets were both quality and quantity). Easy walk around Orange. A pleasant stay.
Great location and rooms with excellent facilities. Great beds and bedding and room layout. Very nice hotel foyer and common areas. Off-street parking is very good.
Short walk to Orange Wine Centre, Hotel Gladstone, IGA Fine Food Market and Orange CBD.
Walking distance to the Main Street of Orange , good value for money , dog friendly with a pleasant outdoor Bar B-Q area. Beds were comfy and there was an abundance of pillows to choose from
Rooms were quiet inside, lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Beautifully renovated period pub - Art Deco work has been restored really well. Restaurant meals were great too!
Friendly staff and easy check-in. Spacious room, comfy bed. Easy walk to shops & cafes. Hotel next door offered good meals. Locals also very friendly. Plenty of parking.
A beautiful family run boutique hotel. The rooms were clean and stylishly decorated. A lovely breakfast included and a short walk to the main part of Orange town.
Second stay here - so it is a nice, new hotel on the outskirts of Orange - better quality than the average motel but also more expensive at around $250 per night
From the moment we arrived we were blown away with this amazing hotel. Everything was above and beyond. Definitely going back there and highly recommend it.
It’s close to Main Street and the house was really Amazing !! It got everything you need.
