Fantastic location. The property with kangaroos and veggie garden was stunning. The cabin decor was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. The picked herbs & zucchini’s in the kitchen & bread delivery were nice touches.

Flinders is a small and rustic hamlet so you're not going to find a huge shopping precinct. The general store is well stocked. The fish and chips are excellent. The hotel meals are superb. The locals are friendly. The fishing (off the pier) is excellent. A great place, nice and quiet in October, no doubt very busy during holiday peak periods.) Pier and beach are within walking distance of the hotel and motel.

The quietness, the beauty of the place and the surrounding area. Loved the rural feel of the town. We ate at the hotel where the food was really good, but also at a winery close by and an Osteria I had read of.

Flinders used to be a thriving busy little village but with Covid and staff shortages it was so disappointing to have most of the shops vacant or only open Friday and Saturday. Lovely to visit surrounding areas of Red Hill and Balnarring, but better to stay on the coast at Rosebud for example and day trip to Flinders. Flinders Hotel looked a better option to stay and eat, but takeaway cafe provided meals. It is easy to get around the peninsula and not far away.

Quiet picturesque village with some cute shops.
Quiet picturesque village with some cute shops. The Chocolaterie and Ice-cream place is definitely worth a visit. Hot chocolate was the best I have tasted in a while. Lovely helpful and engaging staff.
Chocolate gifts were pricey but that is to be expected in small townships who rely heavily on tourism. Overall a positive experience. Would definitely return.

Hotel is fairly new and rooms were large, good beds, access to outdoors from room with chairs. Some at ground level others had balconies. There were stairs but not sure about lifts as we didn't need them. Great location in Flinders and the Mornington Peninsula.

Such a pretty place and plenty of cafes, restaurants, general store with amazing produce and shops. There’s also Flinders Golf course and plenty of places to walk. Locals are friendly as well. Perfect getaway.
The Flinders hotel is at a good location, close to the Flinders pier, beach and golf course. It has a restaurant and pub. Not many options for restaurants and fast food at Flinders and only 1 General store in town but you can drive to Balnarring IGA which is not too far. The breakfast included in the room rate was excellent and good options. The staff were helpful and friendly.
We got a hearty packed breakfast for Christmas since the cafe was closed and a complimentary bottle of wine.
The location is excellent for visiting wineries and close to several restaurants. We stayed in a Flinders room which was well appointed. however the carpet is worn and dirty and needs replacing. The staff were friendly and helpful but the hotel is short staffed and cannot provide daily room servicing which is unacceptable for the price charged. The dining room at the hotel is basic and expensive with much better options within walking distance.

We picked the Flinders Hotel based on its proximity to the Pt.
Leo Estate and Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed! The room was lovely and the staff was accommodating and friendly.
Breakfasts were delicious and well prepared. We even had dinner at the Deck. Nice menu options, lovely staff and a very enjoyable meal!

The staff both in the hotel and restaurants are most helpful and happy people . We would rate them all very highly
The food in all areas was excellent, well presented and good quality.
The standard of the "disabled facility "in the bathroom is not correct and needs changing to comply.
All in all a happy stay
Hotel is exceptional with breakfast included. Food at George Bass and The Deck was really delicious .Friendly and helpful staff. Room and facilities were clean, modern and very comfortable. Situated near a quiet coastal location with fresh and clean air. Near to shops and eateries.
Location was convenient for day trips to the wineries. Inexpensive hotel which represents value for money compared to the overpriced Flinders Hotel in the same street. The hotel is tired but has a nice sitting area outside, is clean and the owners friendly.
Flinders isn't a huge town but in saying that, the motel is located fairly central. It is within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in town. The bed is to my liking of firmness and the rooms are huge, which is great to chill in.
The owner was responsive and extremely helpful. The 1970's retro vibe worked well and the position is exceptional. Great for a family or couples beach holiday. Flinders is a beautiful place with great food and shopping.
Excellent stay starting with the staff who made us so welcome.
Great room and amenities .
We ate the evening meal at the hotel and couldn’t fault food or waiting staff .
Perfect location right in the middle
of Flinders - still very quiet overnight. Very tastefully decorated and clearly newly renovated. And a very comfortable bed!
