Thankfully the Mercure had one room left when we arrived as they didn’t have our booking, this was a major concern, thank you Mercure Echuca.

Echuca is a plesant country town with all facilities. We ate at the Workers Club and at various bakeries our favourite being Bakery 151 cnr of Packenham and Hume Streets. Lovely selection of food clean and friencly staff. The paddle steamers are excellent good value for money. We attended the Vintage Steam Rally which was very enjoyable.
I would avoid staying at Discovey Park very rude male staff member

Echuca is a wonderful getaway.
Echuca is a wonderful getaway. Friendly locals, plenty of dining out options. The Gin Distillery was interesting with tastings available. The Paddle steamers are a great way to travel along the Murray, even an option to take one to wineries. So much to see and do.

Echuca was lovely.
Echuca was lovely. We were disappointed that The Great Beer shed was only open on weekends and public holidays as we were there mid week, and missed out seeing it. Also disappointing was the Holden Museum being permanently closed, however, this led us to an absolute gem, Raferty's Motor museum, run by a dear elderly couple. A must see when visiting Echuca, give them a call and pay a visit. There are lots of shops, cafes and restaurants in Echuca, a great Museum run by volunteers and of course the famous Paddle Wheelers along the Murray!

The stop here this time was to check out the location for further motorcycle tours.
It is a great place to immerse in the history of inland Australia and its reliance on the Murray River for all the people's needs.
The town is a mixture of old and new with neither overpowering.
In one street you are back in time and another there is everything you want from food to shopping even camping goods!
Try and time it so you can visit The Great Aussie Beer Shed & Heritage Farm Museum.

I love Echuca so perhaps I am biased.
I love Echuca so perhaps I am biased. But there is always something to do here. And there is usually something on, like a festival, market or someother entertainment. People in the town are friendly and helpful and usually the eateries are clean, well maintained, and the food is always great.
do not stay here on weekends
For the price of this accommodation, the proximity to the pub should be disclosed before you book.
while it was clean and close to the old town, the shamrock hotel is literally on the other side of the alleyway. on Fridays and Saturdays, bands play. LOUD. All the niceties are pointless when you have to leave the room for the evening until midnight just to get some peace. Then there are the pub patrons who use the alleyway as a bathroom, smoking room or a place to mingle well past the music stopping.
Our stay at Echuca gardens was a special experience although a small space it had everything you need. Kym the owner a lover of travel was very helpful and presented such a beautiful setting of plants and murals in his garden. I loved the unique accommodation luxury wagon style, it was fun. The close proximity to walk through forest and cross the bridge to NSW and Echuca township was excellent. It will be a memorable stay.
Our stay with Moama Central Motel was everything we wanted. The room was so clean and beds were comfortable with electric blankets on each bed. It was great to have a bar fridge and even a microwave. The location was perfect for us. There is a Woolworths about 10mins walk away, there is a service station and Moama Bakery just 2mins walk away. Staff at motel were friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Awesome motel. Has a 4.5 Star rating. I would give it a 5 star any day of the week. Super friendly staff who actually take you to the room, show you the menu & how to book, a quick rundown of the TV Foxtel/Nexflix. where the WiFi details are, how to call up for room service & so on. Rooms cleaned daily. A modern up to date room with everything you need on a business trip or holiday.
Location was superb, close to main street and restaurants. Echuca Hotel staff were friendly and service was excellent. Accomodation was clean and serviced daily. The room overlooked Campaspe river and was delightful sitting on the balcony enjoying the views. Highly recommended.
Location was central to the town and port areas. Apartment was excellent. Everything worked. Undercover parking good. Quick to zip across the bridge to Moama instead of the old bridge. Thanks for the sensor lights at night.
The Discovery Park is well arranged, with lots of cabin accommodation. Our cabin was smaller than anticipated but very clean and tidy. The bed was extremely comfy, as we're the two lounge chairs.
I've stayed at High Street Motel a couple of times now on visits to Echuca and will do so next time as well - location is great, the rooms are clean and well-maintained and the staff are excellent.
The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. So close to the Echuca Port and right next door to the National Holden Museum. It was great being able to walk to restaurants and cafes.
