I love this place, relaxing and peaceful, right next to the entrance of Mitchell River Silt Jetties, great place for boating and fishing, close to boat ramp, between Mitchell River and lake, lots of wildlife. Bring your own linen. No microwave, oven and cooktop available, full size fridge, no wifi, very relaxing

Eagle Point is a lovely place for a weekend away. With Paynesville nearby, it was an ideal location for a long weekend away from the hustle and bustle of our regular lives. Raymond Island is just a quick ferry ride away and is free for pedestrians. A short walk to see some koalas was well worth the effort. We even saw an echidna!

The house is clean, spacious and is set on a small hobby-type farm, so it has all the beautiful fruit trees and is visited daily by black swans, ducks, pelicans and rabbits - makes for a very peaceful stay.

Loved the location it was exactly what the wife and I were looking for when we decided to do a bit of fishing over a couple a days on the Mitchell River. Simply had to walk about 20 metres to the river and fish of your private jetty for as like as you want. The house was very comfortable for the two of us and the enclosed yard meant that our dog could also come along with us on this trip. The house had good cooking facilities, nice hot shower, and a very comforting fireplace which warmed the entire house. Wildlife in the surrounding bush also added the our overall experience and having Lake King on our back door step also made the peacefull ambiance of our stay a unique regional experience. Might choose to stay here again in the summer and see how the fishing goes.
