Wow this property is stunning in every way, from the rooms to the gardens and the water views. There was a BBQ and pizza oven provided and with the local knowledge of the host we found the IGA Plenty of chairs and outdoor setting to be able to soak up the sun and view. Everything was clean and tidy with a lovely selection of continental breakfast included. The host Lisa and Mario are so warm and welcoming.
I would definitely recommend this property to other guests. We can't wait to return.

Excellent value. The staff were informal, friendly and helpful. The room spacious, clean and modern. Well equipped, included microwave. Bed was comfortable and there was a separate seating area. . Great bathroom, good pressure in shower. Air con efficient and very quiet. TV included all free to air plus Netflix and Prime.
Restaurant menu had something for everyone, good food, good sized portions, good value ... and prompt service.
Offering a bar, a restaurant and a liquor store, Shoreline Hotel is located 15 minutes' walk from Howrah Beach. All rooms feature a patio offering river, mountain and city views.

The Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was basic but comfortable and clean. Bed was comfy. Even though near a highway it was surprisingly quiet during the night. There were coffee pods to use and a basic kitchen supplies. Everything we needed was there. Would stay there again. It was close to where we needed to be.

The house was very modern and beautiful big and open plan but the beds were hard as a rock and it was so open plan the sound traveled though the hole house I think it need Netflix or something extra on the TVs

Dodges Ferry is a small community with beautiful views of the water from many points, including our accommodation.
Taxi service unavailable, unless called from Hobart, which proves costly. There is one Uber driver in the town, but they are only available if not working at their other job.
Bus service is limited over weekends, to one early morning service, then one mid-afternoon service, stopping at several points before reaching Hobart ( total 1 hour trip to Hobart).
"Richmond Bakery" makes a good coffee & have very helpful & friendly staff.
