This farmhouse is fabulous if you like being away from it all. A short drive into two towns with food and other facilities.
The house has everything you need however the double bed was a little short for my tall husband.

Unique little town - hidden gem. Must visit "The Hub" for a drink and pizza lovely hosts and very friendly- great place after a day riding.
We enjoyed our stay at the Dorset. Great old hotel with lots of character and tastefully renovated. Derby is a quaint little town going through a resurgence due to its recent MTB popularity. The large double room was bigger than we expected. Restaurant meal was great.
New shared bathroom is excellent. Individual cubicles for both showers and toilets. Bath mats for shower recesses can be found in a handy spot under basins. Very clean. Sam was friendly and helpful.
The Loft is tastefully decorated. Bed was comfortable and a bit fun being up on a mezzanine. The small, modern kitchen contained all the basics you need to be self contained. I really appreciated the specialty teas. Thanks also for the complimentary beers. Bathroom is also clean and modern. Owners live up the hill and were super helpful and friendly. A separate bike shed is supplied to store bike gear. Great location to get on the Riverside Trail.
Ideal location in the midst of Derby with ready access to all Derby has to offer. Beautifully decorated with tasteful antiques, spacious and very comfortable. Excellent value for money especially as a very hearty and delicious breakfast was included. So nice to stay in a traditional B and B with the hosts on site. We even left something behind and were promptly contacted by the host. Highly recommend and would re visit.
Fantastic location in Derby, walking distance to everything. Property completely restored and furnished and decorated so tastefully. Owners very helpful in providing extra towels for sauna use on town and charging for our e-bike in the secure bike shed on site.
it was very clean, tidy & spacious. the location was great, the working farm at the end of the driveway provided lots of entertainment for our son. it was a 10 min drive to Derby. the beds were very comfortable. we would stay here again
Wonderful location and beautiful house. Beds and couch were comfortable and the house had lots of space with everything you needed. Stayed at many places in Derby and this is now one of our favourites.
Great location, just a short stoll away from everything in the main street of Derby, separate ensuite for each room which is great when travelling with mates, comfy bed and storage for the bikes

The accommodation was located on the main street of Derby, close to everything we needed to get to. It is a cosy but spacious loft room that was very clean and comfortable.
so friendly, the rooms and bathrooms were incredibly clean and the attention to detail felt like a 5 star hotel.
