Very friendly & helpful visitors information Centre.

Very friendly & helpful visitors information Centre. Short trip to 1770, but had to do the walks to appreciate it. The Marina was the chosen place to eat & fish and chips seemed to be the most popular dish, but very oily and overpriced. Two well stocked supermarkets. Housing estates booming, so population on the increase. Agnes Waters Museum, run by volunteers, is a must see, but allow time to read all about Captain Cooks arrival and the history of Agnes Waters.

    Nature Walks are a must.

Nature Walks are a must. Just be careful if you have young ones as some are near edges. The beaches are gorgeous. Everyone is so friendly, and it is a very dog friendly place which is amazing. A must is the Gelato shop and the LARC tour.

Agnes Water/1770 is a lovely location and not overcrowded.

Agnes Water/1770 is a lovely location and not overcrowded. It is big enough to have well stocked food shops and a choice of restaurants, but small enough feel like a real getaway destination. The day trip to Lady Musgrave Island is rather expensive ($245 pp,) but worth it. The swimming beach at Agnes water has lifeguards and is north facing, and so sheltered from the wind and the rougher seas. There are plenty of other beaches for long walks. Eurimbula national park is worth a visit if you have a 4-wheel drive. On a previous visit with two teenagers, we took bikes, which are a great way to get around. There is a bike path between Agnes Water and 1770.

What I liked the most was the totally relaxed feeling of Agnes Waters and the quality of The town beach. The area did not appear to be commercially, and finance oririentated. I met so many genuinely friendly people who had time to talk and socialise.I am finding it hard to identify any negative or unsatisfactory aspect yo my visit.

Nestled in a quite and beautiful bush surrounding there is a very functional and rustic charm holiday cottage with all the necessary creature comforts such as a gas stove as well as a fireplace outside. Even a jacuzzi!! Kookaburras nest has it all, very happy with our short stay. The hosts Mike and Michi are lovely and welcoming and they offer tours onsite and also the convenience to book tours all around Agnes Water and the town of 1770. The location is amazing and very close to everything Agnes Water and the town of 1770 has to offer.

In a beautiful, isolated location but easily accessible to the town of Agnes Water and 1770 with our car. Our cabin was clean, had good amenities such as a fridge, basic cooking utilities, modern style bathroom, and a big comfortable bed! The host Sunny was so welcoming and kind, was able to advise us with places to visit near by. Such good value for money, cannot recommended this stay enough. Also his dog made our stay even more enjoyable than it already was!

hearing the ocean all the time was a lovely calming feeling. Being so close to 1770 and Agnes Water was great. The pool and sauna area was great having a BBQ FRIDGE and table and chairs as well as sun loungers and shower and toilet was great to have it all there, even though our room was close by, it was handy to have that all there. The apartment was very roomy and the veranda was huge. The caretakers and staff made sure all our needs were taken care of.

    - The pool would be fantastic, it was a little cold during our stay, due to the layout of the hotel, it doesn’t get a lot of sun and has quite a large draft. But is beautiful. - Short walk to the beach - the food at the restaurant was lovely. - they offer pool towels and room towels which is nice. - Quite central between 1770 and Agnes waters.

This was an amazing find! Although a bit outside of Agnes Water, it was wonderful. The rooms were fantastic, the set up - with several freestanding units - was very cool. The pool and camp kitchen for breakfast were excellent, although the kookaburra's stole our toast. Would highly recommend and would stay again!

4th Stay. Location excellent. View across the pool to the ocean, short stroll along the beach to Agnes Water. Apartment newly refurbished and excellent. Staff very friendly and efficient. Siobhan called us at 9.30 on the day of check in to say the apartment was ready even though check in was rostered for 2PM.

LOVED this house - it’s sooo cozy, you feel immediately at home. The kitchen is functional and offers way more than your avg hostel. Comfiest bed I’ve ever had in a hostel. Nice clean bathroom. Quiet yet social vibe. Short walk to the beach and town shops. Absolutely loved!

Beautiful apartment with lovely heated pool. Great location, 300m from the main beach and a stone's throw from convenience stores and food/restaurant options. Only a short drive to 1770 and other key tourist spots, i.e Chinaman's beach, paperbark forest, red rock trail etc.
