We did not stay at this faccility. The conditions are totally unacceptable. The "romantic" room is like 1.9 meter high and a 1.8 m high person needs to bend in the doorway. There's no light switch and the entrance to the bathroom - you must find the switch over the mirror. The bathrooms have more than years or more (since the last renovation). In the "suite" there is no door at the WC - you must service yourself behind the light (translucent almost) curtain. So no - nothing was fine.

Weinhotel Rieder is located in Poysdorf, 15 km from Mikulov. A typical Heurigen wine tavern and the owner's private winery are 100 metres away and guests can also purchase wine there.

What did I like? The welcome drink was excellent. The owners make their own wine and the Grüner Veltliner was extraordinary. The (female) owner gave me a warm welcome; explaining also the history of the wine house. Check in was fairly quick and the room was large, with the option of air conditioning. The wifi signal was strong. Breakfast was above average.

My second stay in this hotel and again a pleasure experience! Check-in in form of key in the door from my room is just perfect! :-) In case owners are not present, you can still visit the reception, take a bottle of wine, warm up pastries and relax. Parking without problems, nice, warm and clean rooms with fast internet connection.
