Situated in Geres, in a historic building, 700 metres from Geres Thermal Spa, Chalet Villas Gerês is a recently renovated villa with an outdoor swimming pool and garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Rooms are equipped with a balcony with mountain views. The location was great. Felt secluded but was an easy walk into the village. There are small supermarkets within walking distance and also a variety of restaurants too. We liked the restaurant at the top end of town - it was attached to a hotel and spa. We self catered a lot of our meals and the kitchen was well equipped for all cooking. We stocked up on supplies at the large Continente supermarket in Lanhoso - on our way there. A lot of thought has gone into the small touches etc. It was spotlessly clean! Susana and Tomas very friendly and welcoming. I needed medical attention and Susana helped me with organising that. Nothing was too much trouble. We really appreciated the cheese and bottle of rose on our arrival. We liked the restaurant at the top end of town- the one attached to a hotel and spa. O The air conditioning worked really well and was needed as for the first two days it was over 38 degrees! Overall - a wonderful stay!

Located just 8 km from Tahiti Waterfall, Secret do Gerês provides accommodation in Vieira do Minho with access to a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as room service. The property features treehouse-style units. Beautiful location overlooking the valley and river. Very quiet in the woods. Great hospitality by the owner. They provided a nice breakfast delivered to our treehouse door each morning. We also ordered their charcuterie board and wine for dinner one night. It was fantastic. Lots of cheeses, meats, nuts , fish, bread and more. We had enough for 2 nights. Would recommend to those wanting a unique experience in a natural setting.

It was so lovely to visit this part of Portugal and see the authentic village here. This house is luxurious and the views are amazing from both inside and out. We visited Braga before check-in and it fit well into a day.

The rooms are spacious, the fireplace is cozy, the kitchen has enough supplies, every bedroom has its own bathroom, of which two of them are spacious. And the views, wow, the views from the balcony are amazing. We really enjoyed our stay here. There is enough to see and do in this area.
Most of the staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was really good and the staff made themselves available to prepare some dishes. They left coffee capsules, tea and wood for the fireplace for free. The view from the listing was from another world, very well located. We were able to rent caps to use in the indoor pool and jacuzzi. The robes and towels were available in the house.
We loved the perfectly situated chalet, the views, and the care the owners have put into welcoming us, thus making our stay highly memorable.
The chalet was just finished in 2022, is of great build quality, has good equipment and offers a nice pool. The owners run the place as a family business and are friendly and helpful. The National Park is just breathtaking.

The very modern, well decorated interior throughout the hotel. The bedroom was very large, spacious and had double window aspect overlooking the beautiful gardens which led down to the equally beautiful river side. Wooden internal window shutters completed the ambience. The bar was inviting and well stocked. Breakfast was excellent too.
It is a beautifully designed, clean and cool hotel at a fantastic location, just next to the river. There are numerous programs, some of them are free, and there is also a pool and a meditation cabin. There is a great in-house restaurant with breakfast and great meals for dinner, not to mention the view from the terrace to the river and the surrounding mountains. The staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel is just a 10 minute walk from the bus stop.
