The standards were high all round. The restaurant food was enhanced, making it a suprise and an adventure.
The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were in new condition. Nothing was tired.
The location is quite and the lack of traffic makes for a good night's sleep. This also means the rooms do not get dusty from the traffic.

For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. The rooms were little chalet style and we had room 5. Very roomy and very clean. Comfy beds and chairs, plenty of tea and coffee and a bottle of water and biscuits. Great location for travelling around the area.

What a find! Everything spot on. Lovely comfortable room with spacious bathroom, fabulous food in the restaurant (evening meal), top quality breakfast and excellent friendly service throughout. Ideal location for visiting Southwold and the Suffolk coast. As good as anywhere I have stayed at any price. We will definitely return when the opportunity arises.
