The cabins are very comfortable and well equipped. There is a breeze at night, so it cools down a little. The location is perfect with lakeview, also restaurants, shops and cafes are nearby. Would recommend it!

The location is amazing, you are surrounded by nature, fruit and veggie trees and an amazing view of the volcano. The dogs and the cat are super friendly too and the pool table was a nice bonus. Highly recommend

Ananda Guesthouse uses passive cooling techniques, bio-digestors, solar-heated hot water, organic farming and furniture made from locally sourced hardwoods. We had a great stay with my friend at Ananda Guesthouse! The view was incredible, super easy access from Balgue but also super peaceful and quiet. You feel disconnected when you are there. We also appreciate that they found us a guide to hike the Conception volcano, and they pre-booked our ferry tickets with the car. We will come back !

There are dogs on the property, but they immediately accepted us and were very cute. They even followed us on a walk through the region as they were ours. Breakfast and dinner is possible upon request, and it's delicious :) The ingredients for our dinner has been fully grown on the property, which was very nice! Even though we didn't really speak spanish, Teresa was very helpful with any matter and showed a huge load of patency. The room was cozy and clean, we felt save and kinda at home :)

There is a super market nearby where you can buy food to prepare your meals and they even offer cash back services or you can buy Nicaraguan food at the bocana bars.
