Lovely hostel, about 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal less than 1km. In a quiet area. Great communal area with huge hammocks. Cutest cat called Gina , use of a communal kitchen too. Owner Antonio is really helpful. Delicious breakfast, pancakes, banana and coffee.

Lovely family run hostel! Huge room with two double beds. Plenty communal places to relax too. The lady who runs the hostel is so friendly and helpful. She organised a tuk tuk to pick us up and drop us off at the ferry and also organised an ATV rental for us. She also provided advice on other tours and things to do on the island! We opted to have the breakfast each morning which is 4 USD p/p each day and it succeeded expectations. Two courses accompanied with fresh fruit juice and delicious coffee. It was a great start to every day. The kitchen is also well equipped for making your own food too!

On site there are cows, horses, talking parrots and a beautiful (non barking dog)😁 It truly is a magical place…I’ve been to Moyogalpa 4 times now and this is by far my favourite. The location is great, less than 100 meters from the port. The room is clean and comfortable, shared kitchen and bathroom. The family is very nice and friendly, always ready to help. The wifi is good too. Definitely recommend Casa Esmeralda if you’re staying on this side of the island.

Super friendly staff and the family that owns it that’s there on weekends. I was there cause of a motorcycle accident on the island and they were super helpful with going to pharmacy and anything I needed. Highly recommend this place. The facilities are super clean and nice common area to hang out in

Whether it was getting a great deal for a scooter, or recommendations on where to eat or what activities were available, he was on top of it all.
