A perfect wooden cottage stay with family. The property with cozy cottage and beach at walk able distance. Note: Don’t expect food here as they don’t have kitchen but around there are lots of restaurants and inhouse food joints who serve good food at very reasonable rate and will recommend them. The property is very small, well maintained and value for money. Will definitely recommend this property .

Staying with Prashanth was a truly special experience that me and my partner will remember forever. This man is single-handedly looking after the stray cats and dogs in the area, and it was an honour to stay here and support his cause (the money goes straight towards food and vet care for not only the animals you stay with but hundreds of strays on the streets).
We had a great time hanging out with Prashanth and his friendly cats and dogs in the morning and evening whilst enjoying the beach in the day time- making for an enjoyable and unforgettable time in Trinco.
The rooms are nice and clean with great AC, and Prashanth is always willing to help with anything if you need it. Also, the location is amazing, close to the beach and lots of nice restaurants, particularly his Mom’s place next door!
I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves animals/ pets. You will have the best time. We stayed for a week and could have stayed longer!

Excellent as I expected because I stayed there last year.So peaceful my days on the beach were tremendous, almost the whole beach to myself,only a few locals every now and then.Brenda makes the stay by providing anything and everything your heart desires.If you want a peaceful relaxing simple natural place to stay slightly outside of Trincomalee this is it. Super chilled seafront hotel located between the “center” of Trincomalee and the beach of Uppuveli - if you want more action walk 20 mins along the beach and in Uppuveli you’ll find several bars and restaurants right on the beach. Just beware of stray dogs on your way there, which might get slightly annoying every now and then (but this happens all over Sri Lanka).
The owner/manager is a super attentive guy, extremely well connected and always ready to give you the right tips!!!
If you can’t be bothered of eating out, dinner at the hotel is also great and their fish is super fresh!
Ground floor rooms are slightly older and less comfy, but still good value.
Totally recommend this place!

We loved the large luxury bedrooms, large balcony with lots of furniture, and the views of the sea and the pool. The kitchen was equipped with all the neccessities. Also the staff were friendly and patient. Rory was always contactable for any further requests. Overall a lovely stay, definitely would recommend!
Spent 6 days here with my wife and son. The villa is very spacious, quiet and comfortable. We especially liked the spacious garden that got frequently visited by groups of monkeys, flying foxes, cameleons, kingfishers and other beautifull birds.

A wonderful villa in Trincomalee with a pool and a very well maintained garden, only 10 minute drive from the Uppuveli beach. We stayed on the ground floor of the villa, the rooms were clean and comfortable, air conditioned, very good internet. The owner of the villa treated us with pizza dinner, which was a nice surprise. In general the communication with the owner was fluent.
Vinoth was fantastic as a host! The house was spectacular and looked exactly what the Images showed.The villa is super clean with the spacious rooms and had everything we needed.
Location was perfect and close to beach, restaurants & supermarkets. All good, and 100% would recommend staying here.

J7 Villaj resort was a fantastic place to stay! The pool was lovely and clean and perfect for cooling off. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious with very generous portions. The staff were all exceptional and always ready to help. The location was one of the best parts, close to the beach, great restaurants like rice and curry just around the corner etc. The property also had really good signage and was easy to find from the street.
