Breakfast was great.
Every else was perfect, as it always as been in my previous visi
Heatherbank Guest House looks down on Strontian and Loch Sunart, and is situated 30 km from Fort William. Every room is equipped with a flat-screen TV.
It’s a lovely little place. Really friendly owners so accommodating. There’s no bar I’m afraid and they do have a breakfast menu. The owner will cook you a pre ordered evening meal if you have a word with her when you check in. Seaview room has a great view. The rooms are clean and comfortable lovely big TV also and tea and coffees available. There is a restaurant in the village but it is a set menu on an evening and particularly expensive. There’s a snack bar and shop near the ferry terminal. Little snack bar does the best tiffin.
The view over the bay is simply breathtaking. It was nice seeing the little village go by and the ferry come and go during the day. Nice walks in the area and incredible nature. The apartment is well equipped with all is necessary for a few days holiday.
There is an amazing view which I could watch all day. The bed was comfy and the flat was well equipped, although the combination oven was hard for us to work out! (Full instructions were included).
The local shop is extremely well stocked and had everything we needed including fennel, rice vinegar, soy etc. The village and surrounding area was also lovely. We would definitely stay again.
Remote so limited facilities in village. 5 minutes from ferry over to Mull. Excellent breakfast & upon request an excellent evening meal can be provided too
We have rented this property on several holidays , ideally located for the ferry to the Isle of Mull , lochaline is a village with scenic views & walks ,comfortable apartment with panoramic views , friendly hosts who are available should you require anything
Really great location in this quiet village, and close to the shop and ferry. Friendly staff. Good to be able to mix with other travelers. Relaxed place.
Excellent location, beautiful view, very well equipped. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Their village shop is well stocked with excellent fresh produce. Ferry crossing to Mull 2mins away We hope to return soon!
A great B&B. The view from the front is amazing. Ian and Tom, our hosts, were very welcoming and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The ferry to Mull is visible from the house and is only a very short distance away so very handy for touring. The village even has it's own petrol pump, which is a major bonus in such a remote area.
Location was fantastic, even a bottle of wine on arrival! The hosts were fantastic and ran the village shop, were able to give us lots of advice about the local area, the journey back to the south coast and things to see and do during our stay. They allowed us to check in early after a 12 hour drive and the apartment was in a fantastic location, clean, well equipped and with a fantastic view.
