Situated in Port Ellen in the Isle of Islay region, with White Hart Beach and Kilnaughton Beach nearby, Quaint and quirky coastal Cottage Islay features accommodation with free WiFi and free private... Overall, the cottage was a win. We booked it to stay with friends and their family and while we all had to share the one bathroom, once we figured out who was sleeping where, it was fine. The cottage is close to Port Ellen, though we did drive into town it is walkable. We also walked to the singing sand beach and square lighthouse. The host was super helpful, communicated via email and WhatsApp, and they even responded to inquiries/messages after we checked out.

Located in Port Ellen, No. 1 Charlotte Street has a garden, shared lounge, bar, and free WiFi. The rooms in the hotel are fitted with a coffee machine. - the rooms where super clean and comfy - there was a bathtub - the staff was polite and very supportive - the hot breakfast was servered fresh directly after ordering what you desire - threre was a good selection of coffee, tea, and juices - alternatively to the hot breakfast there was also cerial, toast, Croissants, and sweet spread (honey, jam, hazelnut)

The Trout Fly Guest House offers accommodation in the centre of Port Ellen, minutes from the ferry terminal and only 3 miles from our local airport. Niall and Linda were wonderful hosts ,and made us feel very welcome. Good breakfast was included in the price,and was very tasty

Situated on Islay, Dha Urlar offers 4-star accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. Featuring a tour desk, this property also has outside decking. The hosts are the nicest and friendliest people on Earth. I love the area, the backyard with all the birds and rabbits. The quiet, and peace. The breakfasts made with love. Located in Bowmore, about a 20 min drive from Port Ellen and the big 3 distilleries, and another 20 to 30 from Bunnahabhain and Bruichladdich. Very central location in Islay. If you are lucky to visit on even a somewhat clear day, the views are spectacular. Thank you for making our trip on Islay amazing!
