And I did not know it was at the railway terminus until after we booked but my spouse does not believe me.

We only live just over an hour away from Bala and was attending an an open day on a farm just outside the town, we chose Plas y Dre as we did not want to drive home late and were lucky a room was a available, we had a lovely comfortable clean room with a huge shower in the ensuite comfy bed and it was lovely and warm. Nice choice of breakfast my scrambled eggs on toast was cooked really nice and my husbands full English the same, we had a very pleasant young man serving us he is a credit to the hotel, would be very happy to stay again.

The location is stunning. As is the property itself which is a beautifully renovated farmhouse, originally called Camlan Uchaf, which is hundreds of years old. The owners have renovated it to a high standard and have kept all the original features. Robin and Jane made us feel very welcome. The room was lovely, small and cosy (as to be expected) with the most comfortable four poster bed! Heaven! All facilities were super. Delicious breakfast too. It was also lovely to sit in the old kitchen (now lounge area) and have a beer - a beautiful room. A most enjoyable time! Diolch!

The setting was wonderful, easy to walk into town and explore, lovely base for walking. The house is gorgeous, our bedroom was spacious,cosy, beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was lovely,hosts were lovely and friendly, exceptionally accommodating. Highly reccommend.

The room ( No. 2 ) was large, modern, well-appointed and very clean - as was the bathroom, which had a walk-in shower.
Breakfast was very good and served to order. The bed is large and comfortable.
We were pleased to be told that there is a pub in the village and this proved to be a very good community pub.
Nice and quite away from the main town, but nearer enough to Lake Bala for my 5km swim.
Lovely walks and local wildlife. Lovely village pub with a brilliant views. We sat outside to eat.
The Cottage was lovely and easy to find. The owners seem to have thought of most things you would need.
The Bed was very comfortable and we had no problem sleeping.
The cottage is very clean, comfy & spacious. Plenty of parking for our cars & van. Lots of small touches make it a home from home, eg Prosecco & cake left for us.
The views from upstairs over the river & fields with sheep are lovely when you wake up. We enjoyed good food & drinks at the local village pub, The Eagle, which is 5 mins walk
Our room was modern, light and airy, with coffee and tea making facility and en suite bathroom. The bed was very comfortable giving us both very restful nights' sleep. Off our room was a large modern bathroom with walk in shower - plenty of hot water. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast menu, which had multiple choices was well cooked with plenty of toast when requested. Location is in a small scenic village, easy to find, loads to do in nearby Bala and the white water centre not too far away. Village pub within walking distance.
A lovely little cottage in a very quiet village. It is ideally placed for visiting Bala and the surrounding area, and there is a regular bus service which stops pretty much outside the door. The local pub/shop is pleasant, but take note of the opening hours.
The accommodation was ideal for two of us as we were on a motorbike holiday around the area. I would recommend this property to others and I would use it again if required. 
Awesome holiday home, very clean, beautiful, great location.. great view through window, great host. You have everything available to stay with family... Well decorated... Would like to book again in future...
Bumble cottage is a beautiful stone cottage full of character in a lovely little village a short walk to Llanuwchllyn railway where you can get the train to Bala and back. Beautiful area. We loved it and will definitely be back
Wonderful plentiful breakfast, offering two of all cooked breakfast items if you wish. Very Near to the Bala steam railway, going in to Bala Village. Everything spotlessly clean, great shower and extras in the room like a fan, lovely toiletries.
