The building was lovely with a lot of history attached. The staff were brilliant and very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. The position in the middle of the village was ideal.
A visit to Aber Cottage was like visiting family. The owners were very nice, they invited us to their house and provided all the help they could. The room was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed, especially a very comfortable bed after many hours of sightseeing. Very delicious breakfast. The house is located in the middle of a beautiful village within walking distance to places where you can eat something. The perfect place as a base for exploring Wales. Caroline and Kevin, thank you very much :)

The property is in a lovely little village and is decorated to fit right in 🥰 I loved the extra touches dressing gown to use, umbrella, hair dryer and condiments it was all just perfect and such a comfy bed which was perfect after a 26 mile trek! Breakfast was lovely too 🥰
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Byrne Mair. The property was beautiful, both the home and gardens and with the most amazing views towards the village and beyond. Chris was very welcoming and provided us with a delicious breakfast.
Everything ! friendly helpful staff very well run Hotel clean comfortable room
Hotel has Central location lots of Welsh atmosphere around the village lovely walks through the very pretty streets loved every day
our dog stayed too and was treated very well we were allocated a room to have our meals as not to disturb the other guests not everyone wants animals while eating ! We would highly recommend the Royal Ship Hotel
It was in a gorgeous village and it was a beautiful old building. The rooms were pretty and comfortable and the Hosts were very friendly. Great breakfast as well.
Location is good, nice little village, near to good walks, coed y brenin, cadair idris. Well equipped, clean house, nice fresh sheets and towels, washing machine very useful. Good appliances.
we stayed in the woolly wagon (holiday home). The view was fantastic and the location for going out for walks or bike rides was great. Not only this but Rich was amazing and if we ever needed a lift somewhere he was really kind and did it for us. if your coming by car everything is easily accessible, but if you are not then make sure you book bikes in advance because it can be busy.
