Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. This is a lovely period house that has been reolcated up onto the hill, the views are stunning. The meals we had were all great, simple wholesome food but prepeared well and served in a lovely dining room. lovely quiet spot and we enjoyed ending the day with a relaxing sit on the veranda and a good book.

Our evening meal was excellent.my husband enjoyed his seafood pizza also the oysters which were much cheaper than on other coast. Breakfast was adequate.
The motel-style unit up behind the pub was sunny and quiet.
Exceeded our expectations. Great location overlooking Hokianga Harbour. Very quiet with great views. The little cabin was well appointed for a 1-2 night stay as it has no cooking facilities other than a microwave, which we knew about. Adding barbeque facilities would be the icing on the cake. The fact you have to wash your dishes outside in a sink under a covered area did not detract from the appeal of the property
Lovely set up, loved the garden. We saw fantail and Monarch butterflies. Great kitchen facilities and the showers were good. So quiet and quaint.

Clean rooms in fresh whites so not old fashioned in your own room. Great location near the sea and short drive to Tane Mahuta and the borders. Cool vibe of a very local pub. Friendly authentic staff. Fresh fruit available in the corridors was cool.
