The spacious bed and breakfast is equipped with a flat-screen TV. The kitchenette is fitted with a microwave, a toaster and a fridge and there is a private bathroom with a hair dryer and free toiletries. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. Jane was such a lovely host! Very communicative and responsive; she even stayed up to attempt to meet us, which was very sweet. We were unfortunately still on our drive and didn’t get a chance to see her. The room is a cozy garden studio that had everything we needed, including a small kitchenette. The breakfast provided was lovely. My favorite part was the bed, which was SO comfortable and firm, but not hard. Perfect for my chronic back pain and for a good night’s sleep before the Milford Track.

Te Anau Lodge B&B is 6 minutes’ drive from Patience Bay. It is 20 minutes’ drive from Lake Manapouri. The Doubtful Sound cruise departure point is 30 minutes’ drive away.

All accommodation includes a private bathroom with under floor heating, heated towel racks and fan heaters. Guest laundry facilities are also available. Friendly, comfortable. a bit quirky, but could not fault the staff and facilities.

Breakfast was really good with fresh fruit. The bed was really nice, would have liked to stay longer.

Cleaned to perfection and a great location. Breakfast in the morning was very much appreciated for the long days we had ahead. The comfiest bed we’ve slept in so far too!

Great breakfast, lovely couple, great communication, cute town and location. Very comfortable bed, quiet room. Beautiful location with views of the water and mountains.

Free Wi-Fi is available. modern , safe , clean , quiet , great breakfast , tea making in the room , comfy beds , Nathan and Liz are very helpful with travel tips and restaurant recommendation - we did the Glow worm tour and ate both lunch and dinner at Ditto as it was so good and had a great roast at The Ranch
