The spacious bed and breakfast is equipped with a flat-screen TV. The kitchenette is fitted with a microwave, a toaster and a fridge and there is a private bathroom with a hair dryer and free toiletries. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing.

Jane was such a lovely host! Very communicative and responsive; she even stayed up to attempt to meet us, which was very sweet. We were unfortunately still on our drive and didn’t get a chance to see her. The room is a cozy garden studio that had everything we needed, including a small kitchenette. The breakfast provided was lovely. My favorite part was the bed, which was SO comfortable and firm, but not hard. Perfect for my chronic back pain and for a good night’s sleep before the Milford Track.

Lovely big room, very clean and comfy. Location great, a lovely lakeside walk into town for dinner. Very quiet at night, the hot tubs were lovely and only $15 NZD per person for 45 minutes. Amazing value for money- this was the cheapest place we stayed in NZ.

This place exceeded our expectations for the price :-) our room was super clean, cosy and the bed was so comfy. We both had a great sleep as the place was so quiet and in a great location, opposite the lake. Unfortunately it was very foggy so we didn’t get to enjoy the views but I know they would be beautiful on a clear day! The shared kitchen was also extremely clean and well equipped.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was bigger and much nicer than expected. The private hot tub was perfect, and the bathroom, which was very clean and large, also had a jacuzzi tub. The motel was easy to find and on a quiet street very close to the lake. The bed was very comfortable. We wished we could have stayed longer. The photos online didn't do the motel justice.
