Hawthorn House Hotel, hotel in Kettering

Situated 16 km from Kelmarsh Hall, 42 km from University of Leicester and 43 km from Leicester Railway Station, Hawthorn House Hotel provides accommodation set in Kettering.

Old school bed and breakfast Hotel. Very friendly owners from the outset. Happy to accommodate with a vegan cooked breakfast, which was very tasty and reasonably priced with stay in the coach house. They accepted cash payments. Room was pleasant and comfortable with tea facilities. Good temperature for time of year and quiet even on road side. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Lovely room (disabled) and shower, kept immaculately clean. The whole complex has been cleverly and tastefully renovated since the current owners took over 10 years ago. Very convenient for the dining room (breakfast and dinner) with easy ramp access. Owners/staff were very welcoming and friendly. Small pool was well heated for a late September afternoon swim. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful old farmhouse in a lovely location. Host was welcoming and friendly and made sure our stay was the best possible. We had The Rockingham Suite which was basically the whole of the attic floor. A lounge area with huge bedroom and well fitted bathroom. Full English breakfast including cereals etc and toast was perfectly cooked and very tasty good quality ingredients.

Great off street parking, simple entry and exit instructions. The house was superb, newly renovated, clean, comfortable and spacious enough for our group of 5 to all be comfortable no matter the room in the house. The garden was delightful too. Easy location - not far from motorway, but far enough to be quiet and private.
