The views are exceptional. The location is slightly outside the village and overlooks the sea and rugged coastline. The beach is a treasure trove of fossils and wildlife due to the grassy bank. Watch out for adders! We loved coming back to the cosy open fires burning in the hallway. This is a family run business and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. There was a small bar area and a games room with darts and pool that we enjoyed.

Great location for a stop on a road-trip, really easy to find. Somewhat longer walk into town if so inclined. Lovely seaside views from the room! You can take a walk towards the coast into a lovely green area. Filling breakfast.

A lovely old hunting lodge set in picturesque grounds with views of the sea just north of Helmsdale. It is a pretty little village, harbour, river. The Navidale team were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. There is a cosy bar area and delightful breakfast area with garden and ocean views. Our room was pleasant and the beds very comfortable, towels good quality. Full Scottish breakfast (or many variations) very nicely cooked. We enjoyed our stay.

Well preserved period lodge with original features including wide circular staircase, beautiful coastal location, a short drive from main road and on-site parking. Friendly, clean and comfortable.. My bedroom was warm on arrival even though there was no central heating.

Great to have the kitchen and cooking facilities available separately and Lorna provides a good breakfast and a very well stocked tea/coffee station with snacks & fruit. The room was cosy & comfortable and we loved being surrounded by the eclectic mix of treasures. Super location, walking distance to pubs/restaurants and shops. Fabulous sunrises over the ocean on our morning walks with dogs - who were also made very welcome. Shared bathroom wasn't an issue as there was no-one in the other room. Lovely stay - thank you! :)
