Everything. The hut was really clean, very nicely presented and filled with lovely little touches like dvds to watch, snacks and even porridge and cereal for breakfast! There was a pint of milk provided along with a microwave, kettle and air fryer. Debbie was a fantastic host, great communication and a lovely welcome making sure we had everything we needed. Beautiful sunset and clear skies to see the stars at night.

The check in was easy, location amazing. It was private even though a few other people were near. This was due to the angle of the lodge. All the facilities were great. Beds comfortable, great showers, very warn inside. You can walk to the beach in only a few minutes.

The Bank Guest House is a lovely, family running house. My room was nice, clean and tidy. Location is perfect! I travel around by public transport, so it was an extra having the bus stop next to the door. Breakfast was huge and tasty. The beautiful harbour and the seaside are so close. A seaside walk to the Old Wick Castle is about 2 hours there and back, if you don't stack at the seaside.

Just fabulous - lodge 22 was in the perfect location not overlooked and gorgeous sunset views over Orkney. Accommodation very clean & comfortable, John O’Groats signpost, shops, Stacks deli and foot ferry to Orkney just a few steps away. Duncansby head with impressive sea stacks a short drive as was the car ferry to Orkney at Gill’s Bay.
