Everything. The location was amazing, and the views from the front garden were stunning. The accommodation was a home from home. Very comfortable beds and clean linen and spare linen if needed. Having a child with us the advantage of having a second tv was spot on. In the village, there is a Spar shop, a Chinese takeaway, and a chip shop that sells the best fish and chips I've ever tasted. The people in the village are all so friendly and welcoming, and the local cats all pay a visit now and again, especially the 3-legged one.

A lovely property on the coast , looking directly across the sea. The bed was very comfortable, kitchen had everything you could need and all in all a super property for a short break.
The coastal paths for walkers were immediately accessible from the property and it’s a beautiful area to visit with so many lovely villages.
Would thoroughly recommend the property for location, facilities and value.

It was an excellent location with a spectacular view of the shore from the dining table window and two top quality restaurants specialising in seafood nearby. Nice walks along the waterfront to the marina. Ideal location for exploring the north east coastal villages and coastline.
There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Beach hotel amenities can include air-conditioned rooms, private terraces overlooking the sea and outdoor pools with adjacent bars.
Perfect location just by the beach , stunning views from the room windows. Excellent breakfast that set us up for the day couldn’t have asked for better. The restaurant was very busy so early booking is advised, understandably so as the food was superb.
We throughly enjoyed our stay in Saltview. The location was superb with a wonderful view over Cullen Bay. We even took some nice sunset pictures.
We completed some great walks locally and further afield along the coast. We investigated most of the coastal villages.
There were some great eating places locally but as the facilities in Saltview were so good it was east to cook too. Saltview was really well equipped.
Great view, great place and a wonderful breakfast and staff. If you have a great weather than the seaside is just wonderful. The surrounding cities are close by, so just great to be there
The hotel is in a great location for the beach, harbour are and local walks and the coastal walks to next villages. The hotel is cosy and clean,we requested a sea view room and our room had lovely views towards the sea and over the beach area. The staff could not do enough for us , they were very friendly and Brenda the manager is very professional and takes time to get to know you. Our breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious.
It’s got everything you need for a short break, comfortable beds, open fire, great shower, location is fantastic for beach and coastal walks.
Milk was supplied and lovely Scottie dog shortbread.
A small secure garden for the dog, bowls and towels for the dog.
Ice cream shop across the road with fabulous flavours, prices seemed different each time you go in though!
I’ve been to the chippy which was excellent, this time we tried Portknockie fish and chips, very nice.
The Cullen Skink soup at the Royal Oak Hotel is delicious! And dog friendly.
What a beautiful B&B. Excellent location in a beautiful seaside village. Hosts were terrific and super friendly. Room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was ace. We will definitely return.
My family and I had a wonderful stay in Cullen. This is a gorgeous seaside town, and an excellent base to exlore the surrounding area.
The cottage was comfortable, spotlessly clean, well equipped and maintained. The beds were all super comfortable.
We contacted the owners with a query,, they were quick and friendly in their reply.
Stunning little apartment with the most delightful courtyard where we came back at night, lit the fire pit and drank gin... Would highly recommend this fab wee place. Perfect location with on street parking and walking distance to the beach.
The photos don't do the property justice. It's a beautiful cottage with such charm and in the best location for easy beach access. I loved the little suntrap garden and the homely touches. The host stopped by to make sure we were happy which was a really nice thing to do. We can't wait to return!
