We really enjoyed our stay at Mamaras. The bungalows were great and the garden was beautiful. The pool was nice, with some great sunbeds.
There is a restaurant (Larista) and a small store right next to Mamaras. Very convenient!
We rented a scooter at Mamaras (which is very much necessary to get around), the scooter was perfect for the narrow and bumpy roads of Nusa Penida.
All in all, we would highly recommend staying here!

We spent three nights at Bagio Bungalows and had a wonderful stay. The manager contacted us via whatsapp a few days before to know when and where we were arriving and a taxi was organised for us. Bagio Bungalows is beautiful. The structure is very well maintained, with a beautiful flourishing garden. Every single person is very nice and helpful.
The lodge also has a restaurant that serves fresh local and western food. Everything is freshly prepared and safe, you can even have drinks with ice and it is not a problem at all. The room was also very clean and the staff made sure the room was spotless every day.
Nusa Penida is beautiful and by far not as touristy as Bali, which is great if you want to see how people live and have an authentic experience.
The accomodation also offers tours of both West and East Nusa Penida (as well as snorkelling tours) to see all the highlights. We did both tours with our guide Wayan. The tours were great and a lot of fun! Wayan is a great and careful driver, we felt very safe and he explained a lot about the local life here.
We highly recommend Bagia Bungalows and will be back!

Beautiful setting very close to Crystal Bay. Very friendly and helpful staff who can organise day trips for you. Beds very comfortable. You will be very happy if you like isolation as there is very little nearby. Best to have a scooter so you have more options.
