It was probably the best hotel, I have been so far. Due to some collision with the rooms, we had a very nice upgrade. The room was spacious, superbly equipped and very comfortable. The beds were also very comfortable and we had a huge bathroom. All in all, perfect, really!

Dinner was awesome, the food was really tasty and the presentation was very nice. Also breakfast was various, we could choose between western or japanese. The staff was extremely helpful with every request. There was also a small onsen with one pool to relax.

Breakfast was various, abundant and very tasty, both western and japanese food. Rooms were really clean and confortable. Staff was helpful with every request and kind. The afternoon and evening happy hour with sakè and wine made our stay even more pleasant.

Right in the centre of Kanazawa perfect location The evening food was amazing, on a par with Michelin level food, but a prewarning for Western travellers it’s quite traditional Japanese cusisine, as well as the breakfast in the morning.

The room was very cozy and had all of the ammenities you could want (hairdryer, bathroom in the room, air purifier and A/C). The staff were definitely the highlight for me, they were super friendly, offered amazing information of the area/travel destinations and served amazing coffee + drinks! They speak both english and japanese, so they can help you learn things too!

Hotel Kanazawa Zoushi is beautifully appointed and has been architecturally designed to incorporate the natural textures found in Japanese culture. Service and attention to detail were impeccable. Our room was spacious and comfortable with the latest bathroom technology. This boutique hotel is located close to all of the attractions found in Kanazawa.

A beautiful hotel, with amazing staff. Super friendly and so helpful with good English for those who don’t speak Japanese. The complimentary drinks and snacks was a great addition to the stay. The location of the hotel is perfect for all the things you want to do and see in Kanazawa. Would definitely stay again.

I love the Dormy Inn chain: they have a lot of amenities and such a great breakfast buffet for a good price. The hotel in Kanazawa had a amazing breakfast with fresh seafood donburi, tempura, lots of japanese options. The onsen was great, as was the manga library. Rooms are great, a twist of traditional and modern. The entire hotel breathes zen and quiet (except the madness at the breakfast buffet during crowded hours).

Price/Quality ratio is more than excellent. Can imagine (western) visitors could be a bit suspicious when booking, because the hotel seems too cheap for Japanese standards, but everything is excellent: very friendly personnel, great location, good breakfast and very modern and comfortable rooms, although a bit small, and great spa-facilities. I am normally a sucker for 5-star-hotels....but next time I would pick this hotel over the big 5-star-chains.....
