Wouldn't change anything

Beautiful villa, perfect location, wonderful staff (especially Daniele, our waiter in the hotel restaurant). Our room was spacious & modern with great views over the vineyards, the food in the restaurant was excellent & the pool is stunning - the best 4 days of our trip, we'll definitely be back.

The owner of the property was not very friendly. When we arrived we were asked to wait outside to check in as there was another family. he king in before us. It was almost 100 degrees that day so we kept the car running with air conditioning while we waited but the owner reprimanded us for keeping our car on. Nice welcome to the property! also, the air conditioning in our room was not working very well.

The property was gorgeous with amazing views, great restaurant too. We stayed in a separate house on the property with two rooms which was perfect for our family. The breakfast was fantastic and the restaurant on site for dinner was very good. Loved the pool!

Located very close to Montepulciano town, it was the perfect escape to relax and unwind after a few days of exploring Italy. We enjoyed the pool, the stunning view and our cosy room! We went on a Tuscan roadtrip and this was, by far, our favourite place to stay. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

The hotel has excellent location, not far from the city. Amazing service from the staff side. We felt like at home, treated like kings. Amazing food and pool. It’s a place to escape from everyday rush.

The only small complaint was the water pressure in our shower. It was hot but intermittent.

The property is absolutely magical. The staff was friendly and engaging upon arrival. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The views were AMAZING.. not to mention the pool is one of the most gorgeous we have ever seen. They have an on-site restaurant you can have breakfast in every morning and in the evenings, if desired, you can eat there too. The food every night was delicious and fresh. The shining star for us was the server in the evenings, Daniel, as he had an infectious smile and gave the absolute best service I have ever received. We will definitely be returning to this fairtytale-esque venue in the future and have recommended it to all of our family and friends.

The entrance to the property isn’t clearly sign posted so it’s easy to miss

In the Tuscan countryside and only a 5 min drive to Montepulciano. Serene and beautiful buildings and surroundings. Extremely helpful and friendly staff

the stairs are quite worn and steep so you must be careful going up

The distance from our room to the breakfast/dinner area and the pool: We booked a ground floor room, Independent building. Our room was quite far from the breakfast/dinner area and the pool. We weren't able to use the stroller as the way to these areas was filled with small stones, not suitable for strollers. when we asked from the reception to bring the car next to the dinner area just to drop the stroller there with out baby sleeping in it, the owner refused and suggested we go out to the main street and take a different road to reach a different entrance to the reception. We didn't take that offer:) Also the room doesn't not have enough sun blockers. Once the sun is out, the room will light up. It didn't bother us much as we wake up early anyway but it would've bothered me if we are there without our kid. They don't offer complementary water in the room. I haven't been in hotel that didn't offer water free of charge since ages. They charge 2 euros to change your pool towel. this is so weird, especially if you are staying for few nights! why not offer a new towel daily!

We are a couple with a toddler (2 years old). The room (ground floor in an independent building) is spacious and has private parking spot. They offered a specious crib for our son. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was quite good, you'll have everything you need. We ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant twice, both times were very good. The dinner spot (at the garden) is very special and beautiful, the food was good quality, good portions at decent price. we enjoyed our stay. The highlight was the pool area, beautiful pool, beautiful garden surrounding the pool and not crowded at all. very quiet and the view from the pool was beautiful. we really enjoyed our time there. Sayed from the reception was very nice person, extremely helpful and made us feel welcome.

I didn’t like the room, very old style, but I guess this is a personal taste. Too expensive for what it offers. A bad thing is that there are no elevator which makes it extremely difficult to get to the 3rd floor with heavy luggage.

The external area of the property, the breakfast and the swimming pool are phenomenal.

Everything was idyllic. the location on a hillside overlooking the valley with gentle breeze in the warm sunshine. Beautiful, characterful Manor House which hadn’t been overly modernised but still stylish. Delicious food. fantastic service. pretty shady gardens and olive trees right up to the pool. All within a few mins drive from stunning Montepulciano and world class vineyards everywhere. Pure heaven

An option for a shuttle to Montepulciano would have been great, there is a lot of wine to be tasted...

We arrived at Villa Cicolina for the first three nights of our honeymoon and it exceeded our expectations. The room was wonderfully spacious and very clean. The pool area was beautiful and so relaxing. The breakfast selection was delicious and we also ate dinner on two occasions and all of the staff were great (especially Daniele!). The food was brilliant on both nights - all home cooked, accompanied by great wine. Thank you Villa Cicolina and team for such a relaxing stay- we hope to return one day!

Upon arrival I wish we had been told a little bit of history about the Villa as well as given some guidance of what to do or see around that area.

What an incredible find this place was! I think the photos don't do it justice to how pretty it actually is. The views from the pool are wonderful, our room was very comfy (could probably use a spruce up, but not really anything wrong with it) but I wish we would've chosen one that had a view. I can't say enough about how great the food was! (They got a Michellin star a few years ago). We enjoyed our dinners in their small restaurant more than any of the ones we had at the restaurants in town. The staff was kind and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
