We had to pay for street parking, but parking close to the front door was easy.

Antony at the front desk was wonderful. He checked us in and gave great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The room was very quiet and comfortable.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were cheerful and helpful, especially carrying our suitcase up the flights of stairs. Breakfast was at the sister hotel about 100m away, and had good choices and was plentiful.

Room was much too small for 2 people and luggage, but listed as a triple room. Fan was broken but we were able to mcGiver it back together. Very noisy street, especially on the weekend.

The location near Kelvingrove Park was great.

    No Lift.

We were allocated a room on the highest level of the hotel, which doesn't have a lift. Despite this, the staff went above and beyond by carrying our heavy luggage up the stairs for us. They are incredibly friendly, helpful, and always willing to offer assistance. Their kindness and willingness to help made our stay very pleasant.

We did not have shampoo or body wash in our bathroom. Also no water bottles provided.

We thought the location was wonderful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Bed a bit hard but it seems most beds in the UK are on the hard side. Staff was great and very accommodating. We had breakfast included and was good.

A comfortable, inner city hotel that doesn't break the bank.
    • Leisure trip

The ensuite bathroom door was hard to close and often stuck - and a hefty shove was needed to open it. This meant disturbing other family members if someone needed to use the bathroom in the night.

We had a triple share room (no.6) and expected space to be tight - just like our experience in London. We were very pleasantly surprised to have a large room with plenty of space between the beds and high ceilings, Being at the back of the hotel, our room was very quiet. The front office staff were all very helpful and, on check in and out, someone carried our mother's suitcase up and down the stairs. The location was fantastically central, close to great bars and restaurants, and public transport was at the door. The Kelvingrove Park next door provided a calm, green oasis. The 10 pound full Scottish breakfast was good value too.

Large, high ceilings, warm. Parking outside (but restricted times) although there are other carparks to use not far away.

Our room was at the front of the property. It was a little bit noisy with the traffic.

We were in Glasgow to see a concert at the hydro. Excellent location. Was also close to some nice bars and restaurants. We had booked 2 rooms. My room was a triple room with 3 single beds. Lots of space, so it was great for a group of us to stay in. The other was also a triple room, which had a double and single bed. Again, lots of space. Would stay again.

Parking meters are quite expensive (pay by phone or coins).

We had a bad long distance journey (punctured car tyre en route). Our host was most sympathetic, welcoming and very friendly. Great local knowledge, we were given information on nearby restaurants, sites of interest and places of entertainment. The hotel is situated in a beautiful crescent with easy access to the centre of Glasgow.
