The small ceiling window in our room kept making noise (like it wasn’t closed properly or needed fixing), and it was high on the ceiling so we couldn’t do anything. It was very windy that night so the noise kept waking us up. That was the only minor thing, everything else was great.

Absolutely everything, beautiful hotel, great wine tasting, very friendly staff and exceptional food. Special thanks to Alijah and the chef, who accommodated my dietary restrictions and created an amazing menu for me.

I would say nothing. If you have an issue with insects you might want considering staying in the cottage but nothing alarming. It’s just normal being surrounded by beautiful nature.

There was nothing we didn't like.

We stayed two nights in the modern room built out over the cliff with a wonderful view of the olive grove. The room, balcony, bathroom, amenities were spectatcular. We loved coming back after sightseeing and enjoying our time on the balcony with a drink before dinner. We enjoyed our two breakfasts and one dinner here, also. We also enjoyed seeing the owner's two pups, who were cute and friendly. The grounds are lovely.

Bathroom door was very noisy opening and closing during the night. Noise from room above was very clear.

Our cottage had a kitchen however there wasn’t any utensils to cook with or eat with. The restaurant is open 6 days a week, but no notice of which day it would be closed which caught us unawares.

Beautiful Tuscan setting with amazing views from the infinity swimming pool. Breakfast was beautiful with plenty of options.

Without notice the restaurant was closed on our first day due to a staffing problem. Throughout our stay their was no pool bar due to staffing problem. Our room had clean sheets. Unfortunately towels smelt quite damp, and lots of spider webs hanging from lights/ pictures etc. The coach in our room was broken.

Beautiful! The grounds, amenities and villa are beautiful. You can tell so much care and love go into the villa. And the extra touches, the hammock in the olive trees, the seating areas set around the resort were places with so much romance. Daniele, our nightly dinner host was AMAZING! He was attentive and kind and worked so hard to make sure the dinner guest were attended to.

The pool water was much too cold.

We loved the decor in the rooms. Loved the restaurant and the staff especially Daniel. He was so pleasant. Wonderful breakfast and dinners. We enjoyed our private dinner immensely. The pool area was perfect. The grounds are so pretty and well maintained. We loved it all!

Gorgeous private property with scenic views owned by a lovely family. The accommodations were magnificent, we stayed in la Vigna Suite for a few nights and had a lovely dinner in the garden and a private Romantic dinner for two as well. The food was fantastic and menu changed daily, everything made from scratch by Chef Rosa. Danielle waited on us each night and it was a true delight to be in his company. My husband and I travel to Italy every year, but this hotel has really made an unforgettable impression, truly a magical experience! We will definitely return soon.

All was good but if to ask for something more, a bit easier to order drinks/snacks to pool area, it was difficult to figure out who to ask and what was possible. As the hotel is a bit outside of the village dinner options is limited to the hotel or driving to the village.

Loved all about this hotel, from staff to pool. The breakfast was lovely, could be consumed inside or out in a small patio and there was plenty of choices to eat/drink. The pool area were very relaxed and beautiful, enjoyed a day off just laying there in the sun. Room spacy, modern and had comfortable beds with duvets. A fridge. Nice amenities in the shower (incl conditioner and lotion). A small sitting area outside the room was very appreciable and made evenings nicer looking out over the Tuscany landscape. Car park with plenty of spaces. Friendly and helpful staff!

Wish the bar was open all day, no light lunch/snacks served , had to go into town for lunch. Pillows not most comfortable. Coffee not included in breakfast.

Pool, views, property, room size, location were amazing. Cooking class with fantastic! Friendly service at restaurant was a standout. Very close to downtown Montepulciano. Definitely recommend renting a car to get to/from. Perfect place to stay for a true Tuscan experience! Secluded but 3 min drive to downtown, quiet and charming.
