My friend and I loved this place. Rural, quiet, scenic and an animal lovers dream. Martyn was a fantastic host, couldn't have asked for better. We would definitely recommend this place to others and we will be back in the future.

Nice comfy bed, good quality fixtures and fittings, goodies in the little fridge (including a G&T). Very well thought out. There is a little box of crockery so you can have a takeout and sit in the heated igloo and eat it. Very convenient, brilliant for walkers as you access via a side gate into the garden, nice smooth path so you can take muddy boots off and walk in in your socks. Parking good, nice and quiet.

Excellent location in the mountains so if you’re hiking this is defo a cozy retreat. Easy to get to via car. Good size cabin with plenty of light and ventilation. Wood burner was excellent and kept the cabin toasty for HOURS. The cabin is safe and secluded. The owners live nearby; welcoming and responsive to questions so if you need help they’re wonderful. The toilet and sink are a few steps away from the cabin in a separate unit….. late trips were intimidating but fun.
