Everything, the location and apartment were perfect and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Very close to the town and a beautiful view out to sea. Nice size balcony and everything you needed for a great holiday.

Perfect place for family with kids - different beaches even with sand and shallow water, a few playgrounds, everything is very close. We enjoyed beach sapavac with shallow water and healing mud the most, but we visited 10 beaches and we loved them all. On the other hand - we were there in october and there was not many people on beaches and everywhere which we loved, I am not sure how we would feel in summer when beaches are full of people. Also a lot of fast foods, shops and bars were closed because the season was over so it was like peacefull village :) It must look very different in summer.

Vir is a small island, easy to explore and see the most important things even during a short stay. For some it may be too busy in the season, but in the off season it is a very lovely and romantic place. Many water sports and other leisure activities are available, and many restaurants offer a wide variety of food for those seeking culinary delights. The water supply is quite poor, so it is advisable to avoid drinking tap water, or consuming ice cubes or fruits washed with tap water in those parts of the island where there is no piped drinking water service.

We stayed for a 5 days, many nice beaches are all accessible with a car - if you don't mind using a car everyday, then you can find a beach that suits you.
The city center is pretty dirty, looks a bit like a dodgie place. We couldn't find a good restaurant - we tried 2 best ones (according to google and trip advisor) but all tasted like I was cooking the food, or to be more accurate - like I was heating up the food in microwave. The prices are much higher than for example in the island of Pag and are definitely not worth it.

Search the best beach for you! There are like 20 and not far one from another.
Eat at Tony pizzeria! Good food, not expensive, in front of the beach and fast served
Do not miss the evening walk! Is the best time to see what Vir can offer.
Have kuna in cash! Most of places do not have the possibility of paying with card.
Bath shoes 100% neccesary on the beach.
Take care about driving because the streets are quiet narrow.

Vir is marvelous, peaceful and calm place to stay. It is close to historical city of Nin with his own attractive possibilities a for all age groups, preferences and activities through the day and evenings. We loved the mud baths and Solana.
Looking forward to visit again.

Vir is easy accessible by car. There are so many different beaches and swimming places on the island. We were surprised to find some lovely sandy beaches. We also loved snorkelling here. The water was crystal clear and we saw plenty of fish and interesting sea life. Jadro beach offers different water sports and rentals such as SUP's and jetskis. Here you can also do parasailing. There are also plenty of restaurants on the island.
Superb location. A very neat and comfortable apartment with everything that we needed. Ana was very friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English. Parking is right in front of the apartment. The beaches and swimming areas were the best that we experienced in Croatia and all within a few minutes walk from the apartment. We loved our stay on Vir island. We originally booked for 1 night but stayed for 3 nights. Great value for money.
Pool was great,beach is just 2min easy walk. Not so far from shops,restaurants. Beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed our staying and recomend this place. Pool is 140cm deep,think about small swimers. Host always answering on all questions about living and suggesting what to do around Vir,and more distant places. There is shared grill place where to prepare your meal.
We were welcomed by owners, very warm and polite, lovely people, so helpful and nice...Everything was just perfect, beautiful new apartment, lovely terrace, clean, comfortable, quiet... Very well equipped. Good location, near by there is a nice natural beach.

The apartment is in very nice and quiet area. Very clean and fully equipped, you won't miss anything from home. It's only a few minutes from the beach (a little bit wild and quiet) and also with car there is many nice beaches near by. The hosts are lovely people, very kind and helpful. I would gladly recommend Windrose Apartments.
Marvelous apartment, spacious, comfy, great heated pool, safe parking. Ideal place for a family even when you do not want to do sightseeing. Vir is a very nice island, close to Zadar and very nice town of Nin. Mihaela is a great host - kind, caring but respecting privacy as well. Definitely recommend this for your vacation.
Tena and Igor are really friendly and helpful hosts. The apartman was clean nice and quite spacious also well equipped. The bed was comfortable, everything was modern, new and clean. The location is 10 minutes walk from the center and the main beach Jadro, this way ir is not noisy except for the concert of the cicadas.

Owner also provided a cot for children. Possibility to use water toys, sunbeds from apartment for free. Parking in the yard - in front of accommodation.
The apartment is nice, cleaned and well-equipped, has a good location. You can find the seaside 20-30m by walk, we prefered Jadro beach, which is also easy to reach(7-10mins). We had beautiful sea view from the balcony. I offer this place from heart and we would like to go back.🙂🥰
Fantastic hosts. A beautiful beach is only a one-minute walk away, where the kids could run freely. The beach is huge, and there are no crowds of tourists, despite the fact that we were there during the busiest month, August.
The apartment is clean, however it is somewhat old.
Their warm welcoming made us already excited about the stay on Vir. The hosts are so nice people. Thanks to them our vacation was even better :D
We cooked many times by ourselves and it was possible cause the kitchen had everything we need to cook.
Everything was great, clean and pretty modern rooms with everything you need, for example salt, oil,.. in fridge were beer and wine. Owners were very friendly and apartment is in pretty and quiet environment.
