Fascinating city lots too see and visit. Didn’t appreciate effects of 2020 earthquake with cathedral and other building still closed undergoing restoration. Supposedly 40 plus museums. Strongest recommend the Technical TESLA museum. Be sure to be there for the tour of TESLA section and coal mine mock up.
If sunny day take to ski ⛷️ lift gondola 🚠. Amazing views of the city.

It was a vibrant, young city. Easy to get around and a good location to get to other areas in northern Croatia. The people are friendly and helpful. The only ding would be the cigarette smoking coming from the states we aren’t used to it anymore.

Plenty of nice pubs, restaurants and shops to visit and some great apartments to rent. Stay at the Bristol Apartment in the centre of Zagreb for one or 2 days but most of the great places in Croatia are on the coast.

We enjoyed our stay, but were surprised by the amount of construction that is still going on in the city after the 2020 earthquake. There are building cranes everywhere, and many of the old historic buildings are covered in scaffolding and closed to the public.
The people, however, were very kind, and we do look forward to returning again. Croatia, overall, is outstanding!

Convenient location to visit Slovenia and Bled lake and castle, need about 2 days max to sight see in Zagreb but can travel out to see Plitvic Lakes and other Castles etc in the area) - Cable car not to be missed in Zagreb, pick your day for the views, Uber widely available and well priced, lots of attractions to see and do. Eating out can be as expensive or cheap as your budget allows, Dolac Market and Museum of Broken relationships very enjoyable.

A big surprise is the Museum of Broken Relationships.
A big surprise is the Museum of Broken Relationships. It offers something to everyone. Thought provoking, funny, unexpected, things people keep. Another surprise is Mimara Museum in Lower Town. It holds a private art collection bequeathed to the city and housed in a Renaissance building.Impressive!
Walk the Green Horseshoe-7 connected squares and parks and some magnificent buildings including Zagreb Train Station where the Orient Express used to stop. The opulent buildings are lit up at night. Notice the old street lights still lit at dusk.

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel for a conference. Our room was simply gorgeous, at the 18th floor with a panoramic view and a bathtub next to our bed by the window. The bed was super comfortable and there were fresh towels and the room was perfectly clean every day. Personnel is friendly and accommodating. Some nice places to eat and have drinks nearby and the city centre is reachable. The pool on the rooftop was just the cherry on top. We really were impressed, complete value for money. Thank you!
The room was very comfortable: there was plenty of space and we were upgraded for free, the beds were very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The breakfast is good value for money at 8€ and very complete. We also dined at the hotel and the food was ok. The hotel is 1 km away from the city center but there is a tram stop close by and you can buy your ticket inside the tram, which is very convenient.
Location was a little far away from the city center, but there was a tram stop near by. Small supermarket and a cafe and a bus station was also near. Hotel looked new and a receptionist was really nice. Really peaceful area. Bed and a pillow was really comfortable.
Location came in on flix bus, tram directly in front of station no 6, 6 stops stopped by hotel and same rtn to airport tram 6, then bus airport outside hotel. All sights walking distance
Rooms large and super comfy. Great variety for breakfast
