Jacksonville itself is a very beautiful and fun place and I can't wait to visit again I loved the beach, and my kids enjoyed their selves the pool and sauna at the room I stayed in was nice, but the service and rooms are horrible never again!! We went to eat at the hot pot that was a really cool experience. the kids cooked their own meal. but other than the hotel which was Laquinta comfort suites bay meadows.

We visited Jacksonville University. It was a very lovely campus. Definitely a school I would want to attend or want my child to attend. We visited Neptune Beach during our stay. Parking can be tricky but when you find your spot the walk down to the beach wasn't bad at all. We got some wonderful photos and enjoyed a nice walk. The area we were in wasn't as cramped and crowded as we thought it would be. We would definitely go back. We are at Ruby Tuesdays next to the hotel. The waiter was a cut up. Lol. The strip where our hotel had many hotels to choose from.

I lived here 20 years ago. It's not the same place, some good/some bad. Traffic is a nightmare on I95 thanks to the never-ending construction that seems to be the bigger problem than what they are trying to fix,

Didnt like too much. We had no hot water after traveling for hours from Florida, had to wait until late at night to shower. Floors were disgusting and so were the doors, nothing was clean and the door was very dirty. I would never recommend anyone to stay there.

We often visit Jacksonville for shows, concerts or football games. We usually stay up near the airport where there are many hotels and it's a short 15 min drive to downtown. The Landings area has dropped many of its restaurants and is not the vibrant center that it once was. Airport area has a huge shopping/dining center (River City Marketplace) with something for everyone. Access to the stadium/Daily's Place, arena and Center for the Performing Arts downtown is easy with plenty of parking.

If you are looking for a great hotel to stay at while in Jacksonville, please check out the Holiday Inn express off of Mayport rd. They have spa rooms, breakfast, a fitness center and its minutes away from the beaches. The staff is very professional and friendly. Also, if you are looking for good eats check out the Gumbo man his food is amazing especially if you're looking for that Louisiana taste.
If you come to sonesta suites on bellfort road you should see Alex and and Calvin they are wonderful customer service I would recommend this to any and everyone who is in Jacksonville area and would condemn any other hotel in the regional area as this is the best hotel I have yet to be in I wish I would have knew about them sooner I wasted so much money
Flawless! Simply the best Motel/Hotel that we have stayed during our so far 4 weeks long trip across the US. Amazing in any respect: From the friendly welcome, over the spacious and fully equipped room, to the generous breakfast - we loved every single minute of our stay. We'll certainly be back. I did not stay here. We were at the aloft at the airport and used booking to do the reservation while in there lobby. Then when I reached the counter we figured out it was the wrong location. Contacted booking for assistance and they said the hotel would refund stay but they had to do the refund. Still haven’t heard from hotel.
Very comfortable King Bed. Nice elevator to take me to third floor. Gent at check in was pleasant, helpful and respectful. Room was very, very clean. Bathroom was mostly clean. Hotel was quiet. Pillows were perfect. Price $65 was great. Towels and wash cloths were nice and fluffy. Lots of hot water!!
Outside looks like a normal hotel/extended stay. Inside was a different world. Facility smelled of marijuana and seemed in poor shape. Room was just ok. Cabinet doors missing and felt dirty. Did the trick for one night. Wouldn’t book again.
The staff was superb and the hotel was very nice, clean, and conveniently located. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again. Irina was amazing. She was very positive and outgoing and always willing to help.
Close to the Airport. We had a 3am wake up call in which Timothy (at the front desk) followed up on to make sure we got it. Clean comfortable room overall for our short stay and purpose. Thank you.
Hotel was much nicer than I expected at the price I paid in terms of the lobby and room. Breakfast was first rate and best I've had in a long time. Plan to come again. (Also convenient to I95.)
Love the downtown river location and walk along the river. Nicely furnished hotel. Like the morning Cafe which allowed us to grab coffee and breakfast bite before leaving for the airport.
