It's a nice, well-kept traditional Japanese style house right next to two natural hot springs. The host is an extremely kind lady who went above and beyond to help me get in. The house has food and everything else you need, all of it meticulously labeled in Japanese and English. I highly recommend staying here, especially if you are with a group.

The food was sublime! Seriously. Everything tasted amazing. The cabins themselves are very high quality. They did not cut corners. Everything you need is in the kitchen and the washing machine worked great too. The private bath with large window was a centerpiece and a soak in the tub was transformative!!

The rating system is a bit skewed, as people too easily give tens, but I certainly won't do anything to lessen the average for this place. It might be the nicest and most considerate hosts I have ever stayed with. Without me asking for it, they drove me to an onsen and picked me up, washed my clothes, made a reservation at a restaurant, and generally went out of their way to make sure everything was fine. Facility-wise it's simple enough, but clean and nice, and the view from the balcony is excellent. Note that there's a bus stop right by, which is convenient.
