This hotel is quite okay if don’t have much options. For example me and my husband booked this during Golden week. We liked bathroom and the bed cause it was quite comfortable. Rooms design was kinda cute. Fuji view was beautiful.

I travelled from Tokyo to Shin-Fuji via Kodama Shinkansen.
I travelled from Tokyo to Shin-Fuji via Kodama Shinkansen. The fare is ¥5900 one way and travel time is nearly an hour. I stayed at Toyoko Inn which is 150 meters from the Shin Fuji station. There are lots of car rentals in the area but I was not able to get one as they only accept advance booking from their website. It took me 2 hours getting to and from the foot of Mt. Fuji, by bus and a 15 minute walk in the village to reach my destinations. Roads are quite narrow but they are common in Japan. Like most countryside places in Japan, Fuji is relatively clean, rich in nature, and lots of places to explore. My advice if you want to visit Fuji: 1. Travel by Shinkansen going to and from Fuji. 2. Rent a car so you can visit most of the attractions in and around Mt. Fuji. 3. Spend at leat 3-4 days in the area. 4. Bring cash with you always as most establishments are cash based. 5. Download Papago app on your phone so you can translate Japanese images, signs, etc if you're having difficulty understanding the language. That's it and enjoy your trip to Mt. Fuji.

The host was amazing, he has two dogs. 50 years old traditional house is an experience itself. House is comfortably situated between two stations, one of which is Shinkansen stop. 7-eleven is nearby. Authentic experience of Japanese life different from hectic Tokyo, because not touristy.
The breakfast was good and worth the effort.
WiFi and a variety of USB plugs to cover most electronic devices
If it is a clear morning, get out to the bridge over the JR station (two-minute walk) Check out Fuji on the horizon.
Good location, plenty of places to eat nearby, a large grocery store a 5-minute walk and a 7-11 10 minute walk.
Good value. $20 per person per night. U can get your own room or in a shared room. The facility is very clean. The location is about a 12 min taxi ride from shin Fuji station which costs about 1200 yen. Great value if you decide to climb the mountain Fuji.
Free bike hire for 2 hours with 1000Y per hr for additional time. Free shuttle bus to and from Shin Fuji station. In-house Restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Short walk to restaurants and shopping. Good views of Mt Fuji.
Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Good thing is they could communicate in English too. Facilities were ok, easy access to hotel either by car or train, it’s next to Shin-Fuji Shinkansen station.
I got a top bed the room was very quiet despite a lot of residents, Kazu even advised me for the best place to see mount Fuji and gave me directions to take the train and bus to go there.
It was very clean and near a bus stop, station, and the shopping street. The private room didn't feel cramped and had an amazing view. It was easy to find and had a nice shared space.
The roof was incredible. It would be so cool if they did something with it, like add a few chairs or a table so you were able to sit up there and enjoy the view of mt Fuji.
I like the convenient location which is right next to Shin Fuji station. I also love the way how it offers a bath for the guests and we love every part of it.
