The Fuji Green Hotel is a good pick for people looking to explore around the base of Mount Fuji. The hotel is across the street from Fuji station, so it is extremely easy to access for travelers, and there is a small-wheel bicycle visitors can borrow for free if they want to go further than walking distance. The room I stayed in was larger than I was expecting it to be, and had a nice view of the surrounding city. It probably has a good view of Mount Fuji as well, though I stayed during rainy and cloudy weather, so I cannot confirm it myself.

The hotel is near Kawaguchiko station and provided shuttle service. Hotel has assigned us a room with Mount Fuji view which is a plus! We loved the onsen at basement and rooftop. Dinner was served in our room but we prefer to have dinner at dining area instead of our room (the food smell stayed in the room for a while). We received excellent service from Mr Oda during dinner service. Breakfast was served as a set and we were seated near the window (at level 2 dining area) with a nice view of Kawaguchiko Lake.

The view of Mount Fuji from the 3rd floor is good but of course the higher your floor, the better view (unobstructed) you get for photos. The website reads that customers cannot request for specific floors when filling in the "special requests" section. The hotel is encouraging customers to use only the needed amount of amenities to reduce waste, however, the shower room has the essential hygiene products. Well done for that ! The breakfast buffet is well appointed and catered for every taste.

Myself and my husband are currently on our honeymoon travelling Japan. I am so grateful we got to experience this stay. It was amazing from start to finish. A real Japanese experience. We had a beautiful onsen in the evening and the view of mount Fuji was outstanding on the rooftop (foot spa). Breakfast had everything you needed. 100% would recommend to experience the Japanese culture. A free shuttle bus back to the train station. Could not have asooked for more. Thank you

The house is extremely well taken care of! The host was very kind to keep our luggage when we arrived earlier than check-in time, she also offered to drop us off at the train station after our stay. Also since we stayed on New Year's Eve, she cooked us a special mochi soup breakfast, yumz! Her English is great so nothing to worry about if you don't speak Japanese. Looking forward to going back someday to climb Mount Fuji :)

Wonderful Staff, a really delicious breakfast with a fantastic view of Mount Fuji , and a spacious Japanese style room, great value and one quick 5 minutes bus ride from the station. Also be sure to say hi to Olea the cat at the lobby such a cute little kitty. 100% recommend staying here if you’re visiting Fujikawaguchiko and looking for the best value for money you can get. Hotel Is located with a superb view of Mount Fuji. The view is simply breath talking and magnificent. Breakfast spread offers amazing view of Mount Fuji with excellent food choices and spread. Hotel and room is very clean and very well maintained. When it comes to food exploration, spoilt for choices with restaurants lining up down the street. Will definitely return if we’re heading to Japan again. Highly recommended!!

The host was super kind, she is a very nice person that can pick you up and drop you at the train station. It is a traditional Japanese house that is cozy, warm (I went during winter) and very important for me, it was so clean. Also, our room was quiet big and comfy and, the bathroom was very spacious with spare toilets (one for girls and one mixed). You a view of the Mount Fuji from the balcony, which is a plus!

The room was beautiful and well kept, it was a very cool experience for Americans who have never seen a traditional Japanese style accommodation. The view of Mount Fuji from the roof was worth the walk up the stairs and the Onsen was clean and beautiful. Also when you check in the lake front viewing area with snacks was just the place to warm up and watch the beautiful area.

This is a wonderful hotel with a unique decor style. It features a courtyard where, on clear days, you can enjoy views of Mount Fuji while sitting by the window or strolling in the yard. It takes about half an hour to walk to the bridge from the hotel, where you can also see the hexagonal pavilion in the lake. The accommodation is also very clean with a great atmosphere.

This place is a true gem, a really beautiful and peaceful location, with superb views of mount Fuji and comfortable japanese rooms. They offer a delicious japanese breakfast that I highly recommend. The public bath area was also nice, small and cosy with good hot water. Staff is friendly and they offer transfers to Kawaguchiko station a few times in the morning.

We can see the Mount Fuji from our room which is unforgettable memory. The room is big and clean. The staffs are nice too. The location is 30mins walk from Kawaguchiko station. Eateries is 15 mins walk from Hotel. Nice experiences of Japanese culture living style. Will come again. Shower is share and toilet is inside the room.

The view of Mount Fuji is right behind the hotel so in the day time when the sun is out you can get a perfect view and you can take some wonderful pictures to keep as memories of your visit to Japan. The staff are very helpful they don’t speak much English but there was a lady who helped us check in and her English was good.

The hotel is very well located, the room is very spacious and comfortable. There are many convenience store options around, the view of Mount Fuji from the hotel's location is incredible. The hotel is a 20-minute walk from Kawaguchiko central station, but you also have the option of taking a bus. I recommend this hotel!

Simple house with clean rooms. View of Mount Fuji right outside the apartment. Although the house is a little old, it is well maintained. There were clean amenities provided like towels, toothbrushes and even laundry capsules. There was even a Japanese-style room with futon provided. Great for families with very young kids.

Japanese style breakfast and dinner wete nice and adequate. The idea of having guests eat at different time slot and spaced out is also a goog idea. Staffs are courteous and friendly. My room is very clean. Mount Fuji can be seen directly from the observation deck on top of the hotel.

Traditional Japanese hostel. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful - they helped to book a bus to Tokyo and even cut the end off our walking sticks from mount Fuji so it would fit in our bags. The hostel was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here!

One of the highlights of our trip to Japan! A great place to stay in the Fuji Five Lakes region, a very local experience with all amenities and facilities included, a sunrise view of Mount Fuji and a quiet and cosy apartment. The host David is helpful and lovely! highly recommended.

Great view of Mount Fuji from the 7th floor room. Friendly and efficient staff. Not far from Fuji Q Highland train station. Onsen is very good, clean and nice. Japanese breakfast is good, self service of many plates. Superb salad of fresh vegetables, crispy and with good dressings.

Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location. Hotel surrounded by beautiful trees and lake Yamanakako with mount Fuji across the road. Really enjoyed relaxing in the onsen. There is a bar for drinks and all you can eat buffet with a large variety of tasty food. Highly recommend.
