A place that has Kerala and Tamil nadu in the right mix! The language the people speak is lovely for this hybrid nature. Personally, I enjoy the place for its culture and tradition.
Weather is too hot i summer but a visit in the colder months or near about the monsoon definitely is enjoyable.
The best part is the food. As a vegetarian, I simply adore the tasty fare available even at small hotels. Stick to local cuisine and you will never get disappointed!

Nice little town. Though the railway station first platform is dark, police help available everywhere. No metered autos. Little expensive but people are good. The town as such has very modern look but a few kms out and it's totally scenic and breathtaking. Market can be better organized. Too hapazard at night. Traffic rule following has to improve.Chips was great from a freshly made outlet. Indraprastha was our hotel. Nice old feel with excellent staff, very helpful. Vegetarian food was well made and served neatly. Bhagavati temple was blissful. Interesting . Versatile rice shop. Market could be better but price was reasonable. Gokul krishna veg hotel dissappointed. Grumpy staff and served onion food though jain was requested. Very rigid and unaccomodative. Mustafa auto was a Blessing9048308114
I recently stayed at HILUX hotel with my family and had a wonderful experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in even though it was early check in at 5am. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for my stay. The location was also very convenient. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Palakkad.
The hotel is located in the main area surrounded by restaurants, stores, and bakeries. We were amazed by the interiors done in the hotel room. The rooms were identical to the ones in the picture. There are many options for food. Multiple restaurants were available in swiggy and in front of the hotel you can find a burger tree
Finally its worth the prize. Malampuzha dam is closer to the hotel.
Its a small hotel with only a few rooms. The bathroom was clean and big with hot water. The Hotel provided onsite parking was crazy to get into. a Very narrow lane barely wide enough for a car to pass and had a "S" bend to make it worse.
The view of mountains from the Terrace was good.
Actually I had stayed there around 03 to 04 times. Room charges and other things are no problem.
But way behaving the staff was very very bad. One old man is there. He is not behaving friendly with customers.
I don't recommend this hotel to anyone only because of this staff.
The rooms were very clean and they were as expected.Food was available in the hotel itself and it was very delicious and pocket friendly.The staffs were very kind and the overall the service was very good.
The hotel is an established one since long. I have stayed here earlier as well. Well maintained with ample parking space. Centrally located. Good breakfast spread.
Good place to spending a day with family, you will get an amazing view from your room door step. Food is really good comparing to the hotels near to the resort
