We had a wonderful stay at Bracknell Forest. Excellent hospitality and good staff. All are very supportive and addressed and resolved all our queries very quickly. Full marks for cleanliness and food quality. We do activities like plantation walks and bonfires we enjoyed a lot. The property is very well kept and the rooms are very neatly equipped. The attitude and friendly smiling faces of all the staff make the experience all the more enjoyable. Overall very nice and comfortable stay enjoyed myself with my family.

Superb room with a balcony overlooking the Bazaar and a background of mountains. spacious and well equipped. Everything was clean and toiletries were supplied, but no toilet paper. Excellent location just up from the town bus station, where all buses call in. They arrange various private tours. I did a Tuk tuk tour to the top station, which had 10 fixed stops on it. And the driver was fantastic and delivered exactly what I expected, and nothing was rushed.

Just spellbound, as God Himself painted on the canvas of Munnar. We got opportunity to visit spice garden, Tea plantation & Chocolate factory and some beautiful landscapes within a very short spell of time. I wish to come Munnar again to explore many more places in Munnar, where we couldn't due to lack of time we missed them.

Absolutely beautiful. It was a highlight of our trip to spend time there - the air is considerably cooler and cleaner than other parts of south India so it was a welcome reprieve for us. I would say anyone going to Kerala should make it a point to go into the ghat mountains. But getting around was not easy! The roads made us all very ill. Motion sickness pills are a must. And the hotels, and towns, and tea plantations are all spread out so every day you basically will have to get back in the car for torture again. We didn't see as much as we had hoped because we were too ill and we also had not factored in how far apart everything is. But we just loved the mountain air and lush scenery anyways.

Munnar is a very interesting area to visit with a family, lots of activities for families, very easy to move around with Tuk-Tuk or for a better comfort with an open Mahindra jeep.
walking around the tea plantation is breathtaking, we could also see the Elephants in a natural environment, mind blowing experience.
We spent five days in Munnar and it was perfect.

One needs to visit Munnar during non peak season as the roads become very congested and lot of time is wasted in travel alone.
A minimum three days stay is essential to cover Munnar properly.
It is better to stay on plains rather than in properties at height and access to the property through uneven clay roads.

I enjoyed a lot walking around the tea plantations and visiting tea factory. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable and explained everything needed for such a nice experience. The nature is very beautiful around Munnar with beautiful mountain views around. I would go there again if I could.
Lovely hotel located in an ambient place yet still close to Munnar city by tuk tuk. Run by an amazing, helpful, professional and charming host Mukesh. Rooms were beautiful, clean, and had a beautiful view to the forest. Very good vibes, smiles and an excellent food both breakfast and dinner.
My mum & I really enjoyed our stay here and we highly recommend to choose this place before you move your location to the buzzing city.

The location is in Anachal which is 25 minutes from Munnar, which is a good thing. Munnar can get really over crowded.
The hotel was a nice small property with just 18 rooms. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The GM (Balaji) is also very exceptionally nice and accommodating.
We had a great time!
Note: Keep your expectations low in terms of roads to the hotel. This is the case for most properties in that area.
The hotel is a budget hotel but value for money, the hotel is just inside the center of Munnar. All major restaurants are at a walkable distance. I stayed here for 2 days to explore center of Munnar and nearby site seeing places which are close to the center. The staff is extremely helpful! Small parking area is available. Value for Money if you want to stay in a budget hotel and a safe hotel in the center of Munnar
False advertising about the location, it’s not the gps location given. It’s actually called Casillda Munnar and it’s in Anachal on the big road. It also wasn’t clean. very overpriced.
The staff were very kind, I was only staying the 1 night before moving somewhere else close by so I didn’t bother complaining about the cleanliness. They kindly gave me a free moped ride to my hotel close by the next morning.
Good choice and the best stay we had after a while in Kerala , good staff, best location and mind blowing balcony view experience . The staff are very attentive. The food is delicious and very nice to have on site. It is nice to relax by the poolside. It is just over 10km from Munnar where we started our trekking tour so needed a 30 min tuk tuk costing 500 rupees each way for this but we were assisted by hotel staff to arrange any required transport.
The location of the hotel is great. A lot of cafes and restaurants near by. And much more calmly area than the centre of Munnar. Really recommend because of that. Also, the main part of Munnar is also easy to get by riksas. Additionaly, hotel provides a trek tour to nearby mountains and tea plantations, big plus to that.

Fantastic hotel with gorgeous views both from the room and the rooftop heated pool which is lovely at sunset! Rooms spacious, clean & comfortable. Food is delicious. A little out of munnar town but very easy to get a bus or rickshaw down. Arya at the front counter is also very knowledgeable and helpful.
Great location and base to do most things in the Munnar mountains. Nice view from the room, comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed the trek booked through the hotel. The guide took good care of us and told us lots of interesting things as we walked. This hotel was a good place to meet others as well.
