I was ill with food poisoning the night I stayed . Unfortunately and unavoidably I made a mess of the bedding. In the morning I told the cleaners and asked for some contaminated waste bags so I could bag the linen. I cleaned the room as well as I could without cleaning products before leaving.
Later a received a poorly written email telling me that as they had to deep clean and destroy bedding they wanted to charge me for this.
No concern for my health ( I was very unwell for 5 days)
I can’t see any t&c relating to this on the booking nor do I think it’s unusual in the hotel business to have to deal with unwell customers . Terrible customer service leaving me feeling even more upset /which I thought would be impossible !
