After reading some of the awful reviews I felt I should write our own experience, with our own photos. Warm welcome from the two friendly gentlemen who apparantly took over this kind of worn-down hotel last year. Our room (no.6) was wonderful. Spacious, clean, good bed, hot water in seconds, just nice. Breakfast was very simple, but nicely presented. Would like to come back when the bar and restaurant are up and running again. Accommodation decor. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable kitchen lounge area to relax in.
We loved this hidden gem near the Cotswolds. Really mellow pub and restaurant the rooms were nice and the gardens lovely. There are stairs that you’ll go up and down to some rooms.
We had breakfast there every day with hot options to order plus continental. The patio was a great place for drinks and hanging out. We wished we would’ve had dinner here too.
