Lovely room. Clean with tea/coffee making facilities, smart TV, comfy bed with ensuite bathroom. Lovely staff who waited up to let me in *it was a late booking. Delicious full English breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
Near the Devon/ Somerset border, the Victorian country house Greenham Hall lies within 25 minutes’ drive of Taunton and Exmoor National Park.

Set amongst scenic countryside, The Old Dairy at Bishops Barton is on the Somerset and Devon border.

The room was wonderful, the best shower I've ever had. Comfy bed, good facilities and wonderful hosts. The breakfast was lovely and everything was spotless. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for an entrance to the national parks in the area or for any other reason for that matter.
Set in Wellington and only 43 km from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium, Wellington view One en suite shower and super king bed offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

We stayed in Wellington to visit my son who is in a shared house so no room at the Inn. Very clean, spacious room with en suite. The house is only 10-15 min walk into Wellington depending on your stride. Alison and Alan are lovely hosts, good breakfast with freshly baked bread. Will definitely stay there again when we are visiting next. Thank you x

We came back to the town of my birth for a wedding so only stayed one night. However If circumstances had been different we would have been very happy to have stayed here longer. We needed to drop off our luggage early and they were very welcoming and helpful with this.
Although we returned late we noticed at breakfast that whilst there is no evening restaurant guests can either eat close by, or bring a takeaway into the dinning room and wine glasses are available on request.
Breakfast was first class and extremely good value.
All in all a delightful place to stay in the heart of the town, close to all facilities and local transport and parking. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The owner was friendly on arrival and keen to give us all of the relevant information we needed for our stay.
The restaurant was lovely as was the food. The chef was very friendly and helpful in assisting us with gluten free options and alternatives for dinner and breakfast.
Unfortunately we wouldn't come back to stay. The upstairs is very old and dated. It needs a good clean and updating. The wallpaper is hanging off under the window in the room we stayed in. The carpets are old and trodden in, the en-suite wasn't finished with wood work missing and a leaking shower. The laminate was peeling off the shower walls.
The whole upstairs also smelled like old cigarettes where it has previously been smoked in.

Friendly welcome eventhough we arrived late by mistake.
Friendly welcome eventhough we arrived late by mistake. En-suite room perfectly clean. Tea & Coffee in bedroom. Well ventilated. Very effective blackout blind. Bed and pillows just right for me but duvet a bit hot on a very hot night.
Excellent value for money. Thank you.

The whole stay was pleasantly surprising.
The whole stay was pleasantly surprising. We booked last minute and found this little gem. Really lovely hosts who can not do enough for you and a great point to start your adventures in this part of the world. I did not come across a negative the whole stay. We ate there every night. Sheppy cider is just along the road and Taunton is just 5 miles away.

Nice place to stay for a few days, supermarkets, Asda, Waitrose, cooperative, boots, and Superdrug. Various little local shops, few nice pubs, including Weatherspoons, which had amazing toilets and excellent disabled toilets. The Pub is a new little bar, owned by Corrine who goes the extra mile introducing you to her wines etc. Very obliging staff. Plenty of takeaways. Parking is a bit of a problem as you can only stay for 30 mins or 1 hour so recommended parking in the local council car park which is £2.70 for 24 hours.

The town of Wellington was just as expected - public houses and charity shops. Quite busy, good high street - didn't eat there. Had a couple of drinks in the Vintage public house which I'd stayed in many years ago when on a golfing holiday. The golf course was my favourite place!
The situation of the hotel was perfect for a stop-off on our trip to Plymouth. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening, which was very enjoyable. However, the breakfast was the "piece de resistance" - there was more choice than in 5* hotels we have stayed in and the quality was fantastic! Particularly liked the offer of freshly squeezed apple juice, which we presumed was sourced locally. We would definitely recommend and would stay here without hesitation.
The staff members are dedicated to ensuring your needs are met promptly and efficiently. From check-in to check-out, you can rely on the professionalism and expertise of Vintage staff and owner , who strive to create a personalized and welcoming environment. It was home away from home. It was like visiting family. I would recommend vintage to anyone who wants to have a good time while away from home. If you are in Wellington Somerset at Vintage you get both a good time and sleep.
The room was beautifully presented and very clean. We received a very warm welcome and really appreciated the little touches, like water bottles and homemade cake, after a long journey. It is in a nice, quiet location, but only a few minutes drive away from the shops and restaurants in the town of Wellington. We stayed here as a stopover on a journey to Cornwall, and would highly recommend it to others doing the same.
Stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it. The house is beautifully presented throughout and my bed was extremely comfortable. As well as being a friendly and welcoming host, Corinne served up a fantastic cooked breakfast both mornings of my stay too.
A five minute walk into Wellington town centre, it is well situated for the local shops, pubs and its own independent traditional style cinema.
Little gem in Wellington Somerset. Located on the main road, near (yards) from centre though rooms at back so quiet, on street parking no problem. Met and shown round by friendly host, excellent decorate, clean and everything you would want (and it works) comfy bed, quiet and darkroom, wonderful shower . Full English breakfast was excellent, will definitely stay again
Easily accessible from the M5 motorway, not far from Wellington and which has a good range of shops.
The newly refitted Studio gives the opportunity to self cater and has full sized appliances. The owners have taken care to supply all the equipment you might need. The Studio I had was accessed by an outside staircase which was good for coming and going any time.
The B&B is inside a traditional pub filled with welcoming staff and warmhearted customers. Typical English breakfast with hot teas. Secure private car park just in its back yard. Central location in the small town of Wellington, but not so noisy at all. I even got a chance to refill my car at a price of 144p/L - what a bargain at this high inflation era!

A welcoming pub with excellent food and an area for locals to gather. The breakfast was very good value and generous without leaving feeling weighed down. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. The village is well-placed between Wellington, a workaday Somerset town, and the more rural Milverton and Wiveliscombe.
The property was by far the best we have stayed in. Quality furnishings and beautifully open plan and fully equipped. The 'fake' fire looked real. There was a Christmas tree and decorations. It was an ideal base for meeting up with an ill relation in Wellington. Vic, our host, was easily on hand when we needed him.
Conveniently located in the center of Wellington, the hotel was accessible and easy to find. The staff (family owners) went out of their way to welcome me and took my heavy bags straight out of my hands. The building was interesting, modern - rustic and carefully designed with a home away from home ambiance.
Unashamedly old-fashioned, spotlessly clean, a definitive full Englsh breakfast, excellent service, a seriously competitive price - what’s not to like? I’d much sooner a stay here than in any of the region’s characterless (and more expensive) chain hotels.
The owners of the Blue Mantle are lovely. They were friendly and fun to talk with about the area. The breakfast was the best we have had so far in Britain. The rooms are decorated superbly. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Very friendly and helpful management staff, room was clean and comfortable at affordable prices for a solo traveler. Definitely would return and use this hotel as a base of operations wonderful experience.
I like the history, the ambience, the friendly family reception.
I'd like to stay a month there !
So much to do in the area and Wellington is a good example of the west country towns.
