I had a terrible stay at Montigo Resorts Somerset. The room was dirty, with mould found in multiple places. I found a hair tie with hair still on it, shower head covered in limescale, proving they don’t clean properly. The staff were unhelpful and insisted the room was fine, clearly just spraying Febreze to mask the nasty smell. The whole hotel is extremely rundown.

The room was clean and overall the stay was decent for the price except for the noise from the corridor pathway in the middle of the night.
The television is too small, which is not a matter for concern, but the mattress is just average.
Also, the kettle metal rod is full of ion oxide which had to be cleaned by the guest before boiling the water. Place a new kettle.
Other than that, it was a comfortable stay.
Good.

I got the booking dates wrong, but the hosts sorted it out and provided an even better room. Excellent breakfast. We travelled with 10 month little one, and I can say that this place is good for babies.
