Location was brilliant.. breakfast was good ...The hotel itself was very tired ...The room had mould on the walls & we had to ask for a heater ...Our room overlooked a side road which was full of rubbish

With fairly new owners this is still a work in progress, but I hope it will eventually be a success.
Being an old building, and a very interesting one, there are bound to be issues with the exterior, but the 'personal service' more than makes up for any flaws!. A very comfortable, homely stay, and I would definitely book again.

It is not the liveliest part of Great Yarmouth and does feel...
It is not the liveliest part of Great Yarmouth and does feel a bit run down. But it's excellently located for one of the piers, SeaLife centre, Ferris wheel and soft sand beach, and you can find free parking in side streets. Within walking distance of all the rides.
We didn't visit the Venetian Waterways but it is well situated for seeing those.
