Absolutely everything.
From the welcome by the lovely Sue, the serene views you can enjoy from the brilliant hot tub, the homely and comfortable pod and everything else in between. My wife and I can't wait to return.

Always an amazing stay at yurtopia! It's the perfect location a truly hidden gem in the middle of a forest with 2 lakes and woodland to explore, so peaceful and quiet its perfect for nature lovers with all the wildlife about, all the cooking utensils provided, plenty of blankets in the yurt to get cozy, the shower is lovely and hot and my favourite is sitting next to the fire whilst stargazing! raven is the perfect spot for that! Fran the host is always amazing and helps with everything we need!

The cheerful, helpful staff doing their best in a place short on staff and fading decor and fittings
Small village nestled in a valley. Bus stop on main road.
Small village nestled in a valley. Bus stop on main road. Cambrian Way passes through village with access to the beautiful Pumlumon Fach and Fawr with some great views towards Nant y Moch reservoir and beyond in a clear day.
A 5km walk away via Banc Creignant Mawr woods is the Nant y Arian visitor centre and feeding site for Red Kites well worth a visit (2pm winter, 3pm summer feeding times). Local pub The George Barrow does very good meals and is run by lovely and friendly people.
The Devil's Bridge is approximately 10km hike over Cambrian Way or a short drive away.

11 miles from Aberystwyth which is pretty well a straight run so staying here was an excellent base. we priced up hotels in Aberystwyth and not only were they more expensive but the reviews were quite poor. very happy that we stayed in Ponterwyd.
it is a lovely friendly welcoming hotel. Can’t praise the owners enough, nothing was too much trouble.
we had a lovely evening meal on Friday night and the breakfast was perfect.
Our room was cosy and spotlessly clean,as was the bathroom. The beds were really comfy too.
The facilities in the hotel were excellent, we enjoyed a drink or two in the bar at night too.
thank you all so much you made us feel we were part of your family, would definitely recommend staying there. Look forward to staying there again soon.
The location of this hotel is perfect. The garden is lovely with a waterfall behind a wall. I can't fault this hotel in any way. The rooms are fab, dining room lovely & love to sit in the pub by the lit fire.
Breakfast was 10 out of 10, we also had an evening meal, which again was 10 out of 10.
Found the hotel easily on the main road. Room was OK (twin room for myself and my son). Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean (the TV didn't work but that didn't matter to me). Wifi worked and I watched a film on netflix on my laptop. All in all, good value for money.
Nice clean hotel on a convenient location on A44. Perfect for going to Nant-y-Moch or Devil's Bridge. Very welcoming hosts, good dinner and breakfast. I noticed a nice outdoor space for sunnier days and a comfy lounge for during the day.
a fabulous hotel in the wonderful Welsh countryside. very friendly and helpful staff who made me feel very welcome. the evening meal and the full breakfast were delightful. An ideal location just 20 minutes drive from Aberystwyth
The hotel managed to accommodate us for evening meals even though we were quite late and also offered breakfast boxes when we found out we had to leave each day before breakfast.
