Room was lovely looked out over a field that had lots of bunny rabbits to watch. Very clean. Staff friendly turned up early so had lunch and they let us check in anyway. The late check out is fantastic as no rushing around.

Ateugglws to get a table in the restaurant. The food was good but we had to sit near an open door, which was draughty. The bathroom was a bit tired but adequate. The bed was rock hard. I was told the mattress was brand new. Not convinced. Still it was cheap, so you can't expect luxury. We didn't get a good night's sleep due to other patrons deciding to have a conversation outside our room at midnight, and then leaving in the early hours noisily. But rhat is not the hotel's fault.
The hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The restaurant offers a wide choice and the food was excellent both at breakfast and dinner. We were late for breakfast on our final morning, forgetting it ends at 9am during the week, but the restaurant manager was still able to provide a tasty continental selection.
The whole experience was great. Some family joined us in the evening (they didn't like their hotel!) and we enjoyed a fabulous meal at the Wheatsheaf. So much so, that the next day, after a trip out, we returned to have our meal. The staff were all friendly and helpful, which is always a bonus to us when we're away.
Perfectly good budget hotel. Provided what it "says on the tin". Room was spacious and clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant offered perfectly acceptable pub style food (i.e. burgers, fish and chips, pies etc).
The hotel is dated, no doubt, but still not bad for the price and what's most important - the rooms are very clean.
And the breakfasts are to absolutely die for! For that reason alone I will definitely come again when on the way.
All the staff in both the hotel and the restaurant were friendly and professional, they went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and so reasonably priced.

The hotel was a very convenient overnight stop for trip to the south-west. The bar/restaurant was great for relaxing after a long drive. Staff were friendly & breakfast was good.
