Everything about our stay was perfect. We were welcomed by Deborah who made us feel like family from the start and Sally the dog supervised whilst we took our bags from the car. We were taken to our room which was spacious, light and spotlessly clean. Our room overlooked the garden and the view was beautiful. Breakfast was preordered which we thought was a great idea and an excellent way to save food waste. The dining room was relaxing, warm environment where we could talk to other guests and our host. Deborah was very knowledgeable about the local area and happy to answer questions and suggest local sights to visit. I cannot recommend this property enough and would happily stay there again.

If we could score higher than 10 we would! Practically perfect in every way!
Our room ( room 3) had a stunning view of the Castle and the sea, it was absolutely spotlessly clean and tidy. The hospitality tray in our room was nothing other than outstanding! decent coffee, biscuits and hot chocolate. The bath was a total luxury , great for soaking thoses aches and pains after a day at zip world!
The location of the hotel is close to lots of beautiful beaches and attractions-perfect for a summer holiday in North Wales.
We opted to have residents dinner ( please pre order!) which just so happened to be authentic Thai food- absolutely delicious!! ( other dishes are available). Breakfast, again great quality ingredients, lots of options.
And last but by no means least our wonderful host. Nothing is too much trouble, you are made to feel so welcomed and cared for from the moment you step through the door.
Thank you for our wonderful stay! We highly recommend 👌

Llanbedr is a charming stone village between Barmouth and Harlech. It's only small but there's three pubs and a shop. There are plenty of nearby walks and the riverside is very pretty, just under 2 miles from the village are the Nantcol waterfalls. It's a good base for exploring North and Mid Wales. There's Snowdonia, light railways, pretty coastal villages, Portmeirion, golf courses, a seemingly endless list of things to do in the area. The Victoria Inn is one of the best pubs in the country in my honest opinion, they have 5 rooms for guests and a good pub menu as well.

From the accommodation we went to Harlech beach and Harlech castle, to Snowden (by car), to Portmeirion (by train) and to the Rhaeadr Nantcol Waterfalls. An ideal balance between a cultural, beach and walking/hiking holidays.

As a location to get to the lakes, waterfalls, Roman steps it is ideal. It is isolated so if you want to really get away this is the place to go. It may be busier in the hotter weather months. The sheep welcome you in the morning grazing on the grass. There is a local shop that has almost everything you need. I really enjoyed the waterfalls, I went with my sons and we spent some tile wandering around the various waterfalls trying to find what fed them, we went deeper and deeper into the woods but could not find it. Getting around walking is the way as long as you don’t mind walking for miles and miles, we drove around the various single lane country lanes. The view of the lake between the two mountains when we got to the Roman steps was breathtaking. There was a road that had a signpost that said the sat nav will not work, this road takes you through the real mountain road, just be ready to drive up and down a very steep one lane road opening and closing gates with cars coming the other way. The very narrow road twists very sharply and has lots of blind bends where at least at two places all you can see is your car bonnet because the road is so steep. All in all a unique experience.

A lovely village but s bit of a traffic bottleneck.
A lovely village but s bit of a traffic bottleneck. The Victoria Inn had a large car park opposite which was great. There looked to be two more places in the village to stay. There was also a small shop and a cafe.

Nice village with 3 good pubs for food, nicely kept and not too big surroundings and scenery excellent and very good walking from the village of all types. birds were interesting plus wild flowers etc..nice location.
the location of the property was very good local shop on the high street just across the road hotel/restaurants with in walking distance one just across the road from the property.
I would recommend you make a prebooking before going for a meal as most of the tables are reserved, we had the hunter's chicken at the Hafan Artro hotel just up the road from the property not too far to walk for a meal and a drink.
Lovely old house /hotel in beautiful peaceful area area outside of aberstwyth ..with free WiFi and parking , friendly helpful staff .
Great food and pub garden with benches and umbrellas .nice to see vegan options available ,the vegetable Penang curry was delicious.
Great comfort bed and fan provided in room .
Would definitely stay again and maybe check out some of the nearer beaches .
Our stay was so wonderfully relaxing. The B&B is located so conveniently close to town with beautiful scenery on the drive and many close by walks. The owners were so kind and helpful, and provided a big delicious breakfast every morning. Would 100% stay again if we were able to get away to Wales for an explore!
Loved the apartment, really spacious and comfortable. Lots of great amenities in the apartment, perfect for us as a family, and the village of Llanbedr is lovely. Were able to drop off bags a little before check in time which was really helpful. Had a fabulous week.
Hotel set in lovely gardens with a reasonable car park. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. On arrival we were put in a small twin room when we booked a double. However, when I pointed this out, we were then given a double room which was much bigger.
It is a great little three-bedroom cottage with good facilities for self catering. Nice little yard too.
The village is lovely (Llanbedr) with good pubs.
It is close to Harlech. I used it as a base for playing golf at fine links courses.
The hotel was on a good location away from the main road
Ours had a verandah which was very useful as we had our dog with us
The hotel is very dog friendly and does not charge extra
Good value for money and nice breakfast included.
Great little place!
Very comfortable, everything we needed in the living area, bathroom and comfortable bed.
Well equipped kitchen, considering the size too so easy to cook, since you're too far out to walk into Llanbedr.
Ty Gwennol located in a impressive part of Wales. Quiet and peaceful with lots of countryside and sandy beaches nearby.
The original stone cottage was clean, tidy and very comfortable. Jane and John were perfect host.
