This former 18th-century farmhouse is set in Constable Burton, at the gateway to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. It offers 2 pub bars with log fires and a restaurant using local and home-grown produce....

Had we wanted to have a cooked breakfast all the facilities were there to use . We just made cereal.
It was an ideal situation for places I wanted to show my friends around the area as I live not far from there at one time.

Fiona was very welcoming when we arrived and continued to be throughout our stay. Room was lovely, huge bed. Breakfast was lovely
We spent one morning of our stay in Leyburn. We enjoyed browsing in the diverse collection of local shops. We had a cooked breakfast in the small restaurant overlooking the market place and a drink in The Bolton Arms. Overall a pleasant town that we would retun to.

Staying in the centre of this lovely town (Market Place) is a good idea as several worthwhile things are close by, including the Wensleydale Railway (preserved diesel locomotives), a distillery and the town's attractive shops as well as a couple of restaurants. Walk a few yards away from town in any direction and the views across Wensleydale are superb. A really good place to visit for a night or two. Paradise for serious walkers, but also for those who want shorter strolls in a fabulous landscape.

Leyburn is a nice little town.
Leyburn is a nice little town. The Sandpiper is the jewel in the crown as far as eateries are concerned. There is also a delightful, independent supermarket which appears to be built in a Tardis! Lots of lovely, local produce combined with the usual provisions. A walk along the Leyburn Shawl is recommended for great views of the countryside (weather permitting!).

this is an idyllic setting with access to the Aysgarth falls, The Hardraw Force waterfall, Hawes, the Ribblehead viaduct and the abounding beauty that is the Yorkshire dales. Plenty of walks, Castle Bolton stands testament to the incredible build standards of its construction completing in 1399

Leyburn is a friendly town - places to eat were not brilliant except apparently the Sandpiper. We ate at the Black Swan - waited 3/4 hour for our main course. Fairly expensive. Had coffee on a Friday morning (market day) at the Community Hall. Parking can be difficult in the town.

Typical North Yorkshire market town, with shops and free (but £2 donation requested) parking, centred around a large market square. Nice selection of individual shops, cafes and pubs. Watch out for the splendid real ales from Wensleydale Brewery, and excellent cheeses from the creamery at Hawes. But really, visit more than anything to explore the surrounding countryside.
This adorable B&B was PERFECT down to every last detail. You could tell Adrian and Dustin spent time thinking of ways to ensure your stay is comfortable, accommodating, special and above and beyond your expectations. The customer service made us feel valued and welcomed! The local, organic food was delicious. The room was exceptionally clean (coming from a clean freak) and the local care products made your room smell fresh and crisp. Overall, the BEST B&B experience we’ve had in England. We recommend this to everyone!!
The property was spotlessly clean, super comfortable and catered for our every need. The location was ideal: on a quiet side road with enough parking space for two vehicles, but within very short walking distance of the centre of Leyburn. Communication with the owner was excellent from the point of booking through to check-out, and the generous welcome pack was greatly appreciated by us all! I would highly recommend Wensleydale Halls for a break in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Thank you, Lucy.
Beautifully presented, clean character cottage but with modern internal style and facilities. Warm, well furnished with comfortable bed with towels and linen provided. The courtesy tray was a nice touch and the additional dog towel/bed/bowl/treats were greatly appreciated.
Good, central location to Leyburn, easy walking to shops, pubs and restaurants etc. and easy access to footpaths onto the Dales. Off street parking for one car.
An outstanding hotel, restaurant and bar. Excellent food, great choice served with a warm welcome. The staff were all extremely friendly and took time to chat and ask about our day. A real 'home from home' atmosphere! Our room was especially comfortable and had some lovely finishing touches. With brilliant access to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, we would highly recommend The Black Swan, Leyburn.
Just off the main road in what is a very quiet location with beautiful views over the Dales either from the garden or from the small conservatory that was a part of our room. Engaging and helpful hosts. Leyburn is a lovely place to base yourself, shame the heritage railway was not operating from the nearby station. And the local pubs all featured beers from the excellent local Wensleydale brewery.
Such a lovely house which is home from home. Everything was excellent. Just a walk into town with plenty of eating houses and pubs and the Yorkshire Dales on the doorstep. What more ciuld uou want?
Instructions to get into house was a peice of cake. Thank you to the owners, may you go from strengh to strength. Lovely touch of welcome pack on arrival.
Beautiful apartment, spacious and clean , well equipped kitchen , garden , comfy living room an bedroom. Wonderful location, couple of nice pubs and easy access to some of Yorkshires finest, Bolton castle , aysgarth falls and Hawes village to name a few.
Lovely cottage close to the Market Square in Leyburn. We stayed with our dog so the enclosed garden was great. The cottage is one of the best we’ve stayed in - beds fabulous, shower and bathrooms fab, really clean, well decorated and modern.
Easy to find, car parking on site, friendly staff, excellent breakfast.
If you are looking for a lovely B&B in the Leyburn area then look no further than Grove House.
We stayed in the small bedroom on the top floor and had no complaints.
Everything couldnt fault it on anything at all. Shame we couldn't stay longer, clean, comfortable spacious, lovely bathroom, fridge, small personal conservatory off bedroom to open yorkshire dales views .fantastic
The property is located in an exceptionally cute we Yorkshire town, Sean and Heather are wonderful hosts and the village folk welcomed the wandering Canadian with open arms the six nights I stayed
Everything you could want in a self catering property . Lovely living space , comfy bedrooms and quiet location but easy to get to Leyburn. Suzanne was a great host and very quick to respond .

The Hotel was pure class amazing staff, the food we ate was perfect. really comfortable bed nice room with a great view. Breakfast was of the best quality with locally sourced produce.
It was a lovely property right in the heart of Leyburn. We had a great break and would definitely visit again. It was cosy and had everything we needed for a couple of nights away.
Location, spotlessly clean, contact with owners before arrival and on site. Close to Leyburn, set in the beautiful NY Dale's. Quiet and relaxing, well equipped.
The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable - the fudge was a nice touch! Leyburn is a wonderful place and there was little noise from outside.
