Exceptional support from the host, so very kind and helpful providing really clear information. Fabulous location within short walk of The Broadway and loved the provision of secure parking. Four of us stayed and both bed & sofabed were very comfy, the kitchen area seemed very well equipped and the whole place was incredibly clean. Would look to return when next visiting our friends nearby.

A very good hotel and room for the budget, as always in my experience with Wetherspoon hotels. Huge room with a good range of facilities and excellent bathroom. Very clean and quiet despite the central location (opposite Central railway station and 1 minute from bus station - useful, as I was travelling a lot by public transport). Convenient checkout procedure.
Located on the seafront at Southend-On-Sea, with views of The Thames Estuary, Camelia Hotel is just one mile from Southend on Sea. It has good food, free Wi-Fi and free parking.
Leigh-on-Sea is a very pleasant place to visit. Nice views, buildings and lots of nice restaurants. We would not stay in the same place which looks like a building site. The steps into the kitchen come living room are dangerous. Far to steep and narrow.

This is a lovely coastal town not far from Southend airport and with excellent train links to London.
Of significant interest for the history buffs, this area played its part in the war effort.
Whilst it’s more commercialised these days, Leigh still retains its character and Old Leigh is charming and quaint.
You are spoiled for choice for things to do - there is something to please everyone!
