Was such a lovely stay! The bed was big and comfy. The staff were amazing and so accommodating, they could not do enough for us. The food was fabulous. Would definitely come back.

Staff and overall 'bohemian' feel. Location. Quirkiness.

The Room was smaller than we expected, but the main issue was the lack of storage. It would be ok for an overnight or 2 night stay at most. We were there for 5 nights but reduced the stay to 4 nights because of this. There was a very small wardrobe, with 3 hangers, we did request more and they were delivered but no chest of drawers, we had clothes that we had to leave in our cases and had to put on window seals etc... could be easily remedied by replacing the slim line nightstands with chest of drawers either side of the bed to act as both a night stand and clothes storage. The shower was great but again the photographs suggested a larger bathroom. We asked for an ironing board and iron, it never arrived, luckily we checked with the wedding venue where we stayed for one of the nights (also kept the room at the bistro lotte) , and was assured there was one in the room, so we opted to get ready at the wedding venue. The restaurant messed up our booking, and we had to go to the pub over the road (twice!!), whilst they got things sorted, for us. That said, the meal we had was excellent, so credit to the chef, and very reasonably priced. We cancelled the last night of our stay (in advance), as we just felt too cramped in the accommodation, and this was honoured by the owner, so thank you for this. A few changes in room storage will go a long way.
