Great location for visiting beaches on the north and south coast and just staying and chilling. lots of good takeaways and shops nearby, worth a revisit as a based to see west cornwall from. Portreath a lovely beach and free parking with a little walk, toilets, handy pub and shops and cafes.

Great location to jump on the A30 to explore Cornwall.
Great location to jump on the A30 to explore Cornwall. Good local pub, Robartes Arms for food, beer and friendly locals. We joined in the pub quiz and came 2nd! Illogan was a 10 minute walk from Tehidy so good exercise and no worries abour parking or who's driving and not drinking. Bonus!
